This motel was recommended by a sweet woman by the name of Lisa. Lisa is a known person in tombstone and so everyone knows her. I went on one of her tours, and my father and i wanted to stay the night since the gift shops and stuff were all closed when we arrived. (5:58pm) Her tour talks about the history of tombstone, I definitely recommend taking her tours ! $20 for a person each, $10 for children. Anywho, We had asked Lisa any recommendations to stay the night here, and the first thing she said was The Larian. Like I said, I do NOT go to motels whatsoever. A lot of them are not clean, there's bed bugs, and it's just chaos. Not here. When i check for bed bugs or even just bugs in general- I look. There was nothing. Not one single bug (Except for the little stinkers from outside that found their way in.) behind the bed, there's a bug trap. I don't know if that's normal, but When I saw that, I Knew I was good. There's working ac, and even though i didn't get a good pic of the room, it was colorful and had character. even the shower was neat! In conclusion, this place is awesome ! Please come here if you're ever visiting Tombstone!

Its location is superb, within walking distance of good restaurants and major tourist attractions. The bed was extremely comfortable, better than at a high-priced hotel we visited later in our trip. I liked our room's high ceilings. The motel's decor is very 1980's but very clean and comfortable. Our room had a refrigerator and a microwave; my sister-in-law had a fridge but no microwave. We had a wall-mounted clothes rack, my sister-in-law may have had a closet. Our room was farther from the road and very quiet; my sister-in-law was closer to the road and had some noise. Each room has two wood rocking chairs outside the door, under a large overhang offering sun and rain protection. The people sitting outside are friendly. Our room had a comfortable sofa with a movable floor lamp. We had a nightstand with a good reading light on one side of the bed. I don't know whether we could have moved the floor lamp over to the other side of the bed. The motel is close to downtown Tombstone and these major attractions to which we walked: the Courthouse Museum, the Bird Cage Theatre (museum), the Rose Tree Museum, the Crystal Palace bar, Big Nose Kate's Saloon, the Longhorn restaurant, Undertaker's Coffee, Cowboy Coffee Bar, gunfights on Allen St, carriage rides on Allen St., various shops, etc. Here are some places farther away that we would probably have needed to drive to. The western ambiance is spot on, and they even offer horseback riding for beginners and novice riders, which made it easy (and fun) for everyone to try. Breakfast was delicious, the bar is a great spot to wind down, and Saturday night they had an amazing live band that made the whole place come alive. I ordered a slice of peach pie and 2 scoops of ice cream. I was expecting a fresh slice of pie however I was given a slice that was a display pie not refrigerated at all, just sitting on the counter. The ice cream tasted like milk only, no flavor. I paid $25 so, I requested a refund and was told they don't do refunds. I was offered a new pie but it was just another display pie. I was very disappointed and decided to end our trip to tombstone right after this.

Asked to confirm we were in the Earp room. I specifically booked this place for that room and was not willing to pay what they charged otherwise. She first said Room 2. I replied is that the Earp room. I then saw on their Facebook page the room I wanted was called Room 1. I asked again to confirm we had the room I actually booked, so I could cancel if not. I was assured we were in the Earp room. They straight lied! Note that they ONLY show photos from the Earp room on the booking pages. They even include verbiage that talks about this being the Earp room with those decorations we wanted. But, they actually have 3 rooms and only one is decorated that way. The one they actually put us in was a boring "Settlers" room with cactus pictures, reminiscent of any cheap Phoenix motel. I'm from AZ, so not impressed by cacti. No one was there at checkout to discuss this with. The office is always empty. As for the room, it was okay, just not worth what I was charged. If they had admitted they didn't put us in the room I actually booked, I would have cancelled and moved to the place up the hill for $45 less plus free breakfast included. Don't appreciate being lied to!

We drove up a day early on Thursday so we would be all rested for the event to start on Friday. We drove up to the Bordello and were greeted outside with a warm welcome and a great big smile! We both knew we picked the right place for us! We gathered all our stuff from the bike and Shelly took us in and on our way to our room she gave us a small tour of everything that we would need to know. On the table she laid out minchies for us to have to hold us over till our dinner. We stayed in the Calico Queen and it was a perfect home for our 3 days. In the morning we woke up to an amazing homemade breakfast by Shelly and her husband. Eggs,bacon,sausage, homefries and toast. Coffee & OJ. Today we had Homemade biscuits and gravy to die for with sausage , fresh fruit, coffee and OJ. The guest staying for the weekend all came down and we all had a great conversation telling stories between all of us. I would HIGHLY recommend this place and will make this my go to next year for the 2nd anniversary ride. I can go on and on about this place and the EPIC weekend my husband and I had! We stayed in one of the two original rooms, the Fallen Angel, and experienced some paranormal activity. We felt we were being observed, heard very light footsteps around the room and my husband felt someone leaning onto the bed on his side at night. The B&B is a couple of blocks away from the main boardwalk and it is a very quaint location. There is one television downstairs in the living room area, but no TV's in your room, which we found a blessing of peace. We loved it so much and will visit again in the future.

My favorite part is the water pressure was fantastic for a great shower after a long drive. Lastly, the price was stupid cheap, I think for 2 nights it was like 100 bucks. You can't beat that. Extra shout out to the woman who checked us in she was so sweet! Is it the ritz carlton, no, but it is one of those kinds of hotels that is unique and make a road trip feel like an experience worth having.
