When we arrived at 2:30, we asked if we could possibly check in early, but was told we had to wait til 4. No worries. Went to have a bite to eat at El Gatos and then walked around the casino for a bit. We came back at 3:45 to a line out of the hotel front door to check in and one employee checking in guests. We finally got to check in after 4. Went up to room which was not very clean, no laundry bag, etc but we were in a rush to shower and get to the show. When we got back, I informed the guy front desk that the bathroom was not cleaned well. He said they'd put a note in the system. Next morning at check out I spoke to the girl at the front desk of the room and the vomit on the 4th floor in the hallway and it looked like someone tried to clean it up; but it still smelled and there was still remnants of it. She apologized and said someone would call. A few days later someone left a VM on my husband's phone that they would credit us the $25 resort fee. I didn't think that was acceptable, so I called back and spoke to Libby who was very nice. She said she would have another manager call me back, but over a week later, no one has called back. Pretty disappointing experience.

Small toilet/ shower stall room, with sink and mirror in main room. Air conditioner was sufficient. Breakfast area had seating for 20 people and I was able to get a table. Waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels and breads, cereal, etc were available and included with stay. Nothing fancy . There were guests just hanging out longer than necessary at tables, causing patrons to walk back to their rooms with a plate of food and drink. (8:30-9:00am) Overall, I was pleased with my stay.

Here's what happened: I have tried for 2 weeks to get in touch with their management after our room flooded with toilet, shower, and sink water in the middle of the night several times. We had to help the overnight desk person haul buckets of dirty water to our shower so that the rug in our room didn't completely flood and ruin our belongings, so at 12:30am, 4am, and 7am we were wide awake with dirty water running into our room. Due to the nasty nature of the water, our shower was filthy and we couldn't use our sink because it was full of water. We had to brush our teeth in the public bathroom and could not shower at all. The ON THE GROUND staff that day were very apologetic and nice to us-they told me when we were leaving after we gave up trying to sleep and checked out early that they'd have the manager call us to follow up. Amber not only didn't call to talk with me, but went on vacation three days later and left her fill-in Kat to deal with me. By that point, after being extremely patient waiting for days for a call, I called and was told that they would not refund any of my money but would give me a $50 gift card. That's not only insulting, but doesn't help me address the problem at all being charged for a room that was basically totally unusable for sleeping or relaxing. I called corporate and they also took several days to get back to me. Since I can't add the video, here's a full clip of what we experienced in room 105 every time someone used water upstairs. https://youtube.com/shorts/ulEccEncF80?feature=share Very unprofessional management! if you have a problem do not expect anyone to help you there. I hate to be this person posting a terrible review, but this is just an unacceptable situation.

It's annoying how this place is still $135-180 a night on a flippin Tuesday considering this is such a sleepy little sticks town and not everything is even open that early on in the week. But anyway, we could have stayed in a normal king room but of course we took the bougie route and got the king suite w jacuzzi tub. OH YES. And it was pretty much worth it! (for pics, inquire within for a small fee..Cough..) So for about $215 with tax, we were able to enjoy the pool which is open until 10pm and smells delightfully like cedar (i could have stayed in there all night) but was a bit on the chilly side. I didn't mind much but compared to other hotel pools it was not the usual 80 but rather around 70. Still nice though. Sauna in locker room area that i didn't check out and an awesome beer joint across the street that will deliver if you call ahead of time. Good ass food and super affordable! Bed was clean and comfy but they need to work on their pillow game. Very soft and flat pillows and only 4 small ones. I would have liked 6 if they were this size or at least 4 nice oversized. Tv was a tit fuzzy on majority of channels but who cares, I wasn't there for to watch that. Nice robes by the tub but um, don't think about jacking them bc they are a whopping $75 a pop if you do... better off nabbing some at target for a fraction of that. Would I come again? Absolutely. Plus I think the sofa at the foot of the king bed was a pullout so you could def fit 4 ppl comfortably and split the bill. No bed bugs spotted, no strange stains, only funky smell was in the hall outside the room. I might be back! Oh and um....abundant pokemon...wait what? Oh also, continental breakfast from 6-9 maybe until 10 and it had basic things like bagels, waffles, etc and it wasnt too bad.

The staff is helpful and courteous without being intrusive. Their facilities are stellar (pun intended). The entire hotel is clean...real clean....almost scary clean. You could floss your teeth with the carpets kind of clean. If you need a hotel in the Catskills, do yourself a favor. Let the Sullivan spoil you.

Brochure said it had a sauna, which I looked for by the gym and pool. No, there isn't a sauna. The breakfast was complimentary, but definitely not hot or what I would call continental. It was more like a few bagels, a pancake machine, and some free yogurt or coffee. I've seen worse, but this is still sub-standard. On the plus, it is private. The staff was friendly. I didn't feel unsafe staying here. It was fairly clean and the housekeeping did a good job. It wasn't the worst hotel ever, but it did feel like stepping back in time to the 90s. For the price, actually not too bad. It fit the price for a night stay fairly.
