Poor quality, poor customer service…read more Cute in theory, horrible execution. Felt like a true crappy motel and I feel robbed at $300+/night. Cons: - shower gets COLD quickly and when the toilet is flushed - loud traffic noise (large trucks use the road all night) - room is dark - no front desk service - mildew/mold in bathroom grout and on ceilings - improper room booking - poor business ethics, refusal to own up to their error Pros: - room included coffee, milk, and popcorn - room had mini-split A/C We booked a two night stay as part of a wedding block. No one picked up the phone and it took three attempts across two days to make a reservation, which we made over three months ahead. In the call they asked if we wanted two beds or one king. We told them we had two kids so we definitely wanted two beds. They let us know they only had one room with two beds- great, yes we want to book that room. They told us the differing rates of the rooms and we confirmed that we wanted the double bed room. I didn't get a confirmation email at the time (which I chalked up to their lack of a typical front desk/reception person). ETA: they did finally send a confirmation email one week before we arrived, but we had already left for our trip by that point. Fast forward to three months later... When we arrive, turns out they've put us in a room with just one king bed. There's no "front desk" so you have to text for service. The solution was to offer us a crappy twin air mattress (with sheets only, no comforter??). We still have 4 people... so that meant three of us in one bed aka no sleep (add on the noisy road traffic... they clearly didn't spring for noise insulation in their remodeling). How do they not even have cots?? The air mattress deflated through the night (as cheap ones do). They also clearly didn't upgrade their plumbing; the shower gets cold after 5 minutes and when people flush the toilet. There is no ventilation in the bathroom so there is mold/mildew on the ceiling. Our bathroom sink had a huge gap of cracked caulk and the vinyl plank flooring in the room was bumpy and uneven. Basically this whole place screams cheap DIY remodel and is a total rip off at more than $300/night. The worst part of this experience is that they refused to own up to their mistake. I knew from our phone conversation that they only had one room with two beds. Obviously I would not have booked a stay there if that room was not available. So either their booking person lied to me about its availability OR they forgot to reserve that room for us. Their response to my complaint was "we can refund you but we'll have to charge the bride who had the block." What?? Rather than admit their error and try to rectify their mistake, they want to penalize a third party? Because they chose not to have real staff that is trained to properly make a room reservation? Garbage service.

Everything flowed so nicely and felt super relaxing from start to finish. The staff were all warm, professional, and really made us feel taken care of. For brunch, we had mimosas and a pineapple punch (so good), plus a fruit plate, grilled caesar salad, and three Kenoza burgers -- all cooked exactly how we wanted. No complaints at all, everything was fresh and delicious. The space itself is clean, calm, and really inviting. Such a great way to kick off a birthday weekend with my girls. Same for the tuna tartar. had the salmon which was good, cant ho wrong with it, but the sides were insufficient and bland. Cant remember what else we had but I can confidently say it waa over priced, and under delivered. Overall I think they need a reality check if they're trying to charge such prices for the food they serve. Id much rather pay for simpler, humble menu but with better quality and taste.

The resort is nestled in the Catskills surrounded by lush greenery and the smell of nature. The property is beautiful, very clean, and has that cozy modern woodsy aesthetic. It's perfect for a weekend getaway or if you just want to escape in nature for a couple of days. On the map the property looks huge, but everything is pretty quick to walk to. Our room was so lovely, and there is no TV which really gets you to be disconnected. There is a huge pool, with floaties and a truck side bar which was closed but is open on the weekends. There's also a sauna and gym which is overlooking the views of green hills. There is a nice lounge/communal area next to the cafe/reception where you can hangout and play all sorts of board games and have a nice drink. Outside there is also a covered area with a ping pong table, giant jenga, and connect 4. Each night they have a fire pit, weather permitting with smores. One of the nights it was raining so sadly no fire pits for smores, one of the staff members was so kind to heat up some smores for us and some other guests and it was nice to just have that little treat to make up for the weather. You can explore the beautiful grounds, where on a short walk across the road is their barn where they host weddings, a large pond, and if you walk further down you'll find yourself next to a stream. All the staff were so friendly and accomodating. I imagine it's more busy on the weekends especially when their pool bar and on site restaurant is open. It was a magical place. Can't wait to come back again.

We booked a stay expecting an elevated Catskills getaway based on the property's marketing, pricing, and branding. Instead, we arrived at what felt like a hotel that was not ready to be operating at the level it advertises. Our room showed visible signs of unfinished renovation, including unpainted wall patches where fixtures had been removed, remnants of painter's tape, damaged paint on the door, and a bathroom barn door that would slide open on its own. The room was aesthetically minimalist to the point of being impractical (but not even that cute), with very little surface space and a surprising lack of outlets. The larger problem was the number of amenities and experiences that were unavailable or poorly executed. We were informed after check-in that dining service would be significantly limited due to a soft opening. The pool was not operating. Weekend yoga was unavailable despite being marketed. Parts of the property contained boxes and visible signs that preparations for the season were still underway. None of this was communicated before arrival. The food experience was equally disappointing. There was no vegetarian dinner option during our stay, which is difficult to understand at a hotel catering to a NYC weekend crowd. Breakfast was slow, and bad to the point of almost inedible. Even small guest-facing details reflected a lack of attention. For example, the s'mores were oddly restrictive, short on supplies, and featured marshmallows that were so hard they were difficult to roast. What made the experience particularly frustrating was that many of these issues seemed entirely avoidable. Weather is outside a hotel's control. Failing to communicate unavailable amenities, opening before operations are fully ready, and charging premium prices for an incomplete experience are not. The entire stay felt like a triumph of branding over hospitality. While the property photographs well from the right angle and with much moved out of the frame, far fewer aspects of it function well.

The solar powered cabin was spotless, and we had no concerns at all regarding cleanliness .The area has so much to offer , outdoor activities galore. Our nights were spent under the stars, eating dinner at a picnic table in front of the cabin followed by a relaxing fire in our own fire pit. It was wonderful to wake to the sound of roosters and our trip highlight was feeding the roaming Sheep. I will definitely return, with my dog ( yes, it's a dog friendly retreat). It's a great spot for a friends weekend, a couples getaway or a family friendly vacation.
