The owners (managers?) seemed a bit aloof when we asked to purchase it but eventually got into it. Nadeau has decent quality and unique furniture. I purchased two antique lamp finials that my wife adores and two others for lamps in the family room. They have a great selection of hardware. I was looking at two lamps but the owner was concerned about damage in shipping to upstate New York, so I opted at that time mot to purchase. It wouldn't be too late if Alabama Furniture Market (Dog Town Furniture) - Huntsville had not dropped the ball on this issue. When I walked in I saw two employees on the phone taking care of customers. I browsed the store checking if I saw the water filter I needed. I didn't. One of the employees said they do not stock the filter but they can order it. A-1 is known for stocking older model replacement parts and what I call off parts. I had an old oven from the 1950's and the element burned out. I went to A-1 and they had that old part in stock. I was told I could order the water filter from Amazon and get it quickly. I didn't think to check Amazon for the water filter. Thank you A-1 for that recommendation!

It was not at the location I was at so the nice woman helping me was able to check their other locations and found the part for me. I went to the other location and the young man that waited on me went right to the part and had it in-hand in less than 2 minutes. I was in & out with correct part in 5 minutes. I highly recommend this business and it is refreshing to experience skilled & knowledgeable employees at this day and time. You will not find this level of service at any big-box store.
