Communication was spectacular every step of the way - I shared an overview of what I was looking for through those first texts which paved the way for a terrific consultation where Jesse took the time to go over everything, let me know what he needed from me, and provided some great resources for picking out the right font, even providing helpful pointers for what to look for in different fonts so that it would continue to look great for years to come. On arrival day of Jesse already had a mockup ready to go and was more than accommodating with some minor changes I wanted done. I can't say the process was painless for obvious reasons but it was as smooth as one could ever hope for. The work was clean, the price was extremely fair, and I left with a piece I'm super happy with that has already received a bunch of compliments even though it's still in the healing phase. I spoke to Jess about what I wanted, and explained an issue I was having with a current piercing. Jess listened to all of concerns and about what I wanted for my new piercing. She didn't rush me and actually listened and gave me feedback. Then, in the chair I was. Before I knew it Jess took care of one of my piercings and then I had the new piercing I wanted. I loved Amanda's design that she created for the portrait I let her have free reign because I kind of give the tattoo artists leniency as long as they're basically doing what I ask for. I had a great time while she was tattooing me we vibed well together which is always a good thing when getting tattooed. We were able to talk and I was in a good position to watch the tattoo getting done because if I am able to I like to watch it getting done. I don't know about the other artists here except my friend Nicole got one done by Amanda and Justin did a cover up for her and she was also happy with both tattoos. As opposed to using a separate needle for shading, he used the same needle as the line work. During the healing process, the tattoo scabbed over and when the scab fell off the tattoo was completely faded and scared over. I've never had this experience in my life and my whole left arm is tattooed. Would never ever recommend this shop to anyone nor will I ever return. First and last time. There's a lot to consider when you choose a tattoo shop and artist, you also have to look at both together. Liberty meets and surpasses the expectations on the total package when it comes to the tattoo experience. Liberty delivers a traditional and professional experience in an industry where tradition is hard to find. The artists have earned their seat at the table (metaphorically speaking) and the tattoos they make are the proof. I have personally witnessed multiple periods of time when Liberty was looking for new artists and the process was far from a first come first serve desperation search. From the first interaction going over designs and ideas, you notice the professionalism and pride in your artist. Once it's time to get in the chair, you witness firsthand the cleanliness your artist maintains from setup to breakdown.
