I came here to buy a new nose ring and possibly have my piercing tapered due to mine's falling out a few days ago. The piercer could only get the ring about halfway in, so after several attempts of digging the ring into my nostril she grabs the taper. At this point I'm relieved believing this will ease the process. BOY WAS I WRONG! She proceeded by forcing the blunt taper needle through my nostril at an entirely new angle. Meaning I now have 2 holes on the inside of my nostril. I have a high pain tolerance but this was worst than even my nipple piercings. After she finally finishes tenderizing my nose and sets the new ring she looks into my eyes and ask... "Would you hate me if I put in the wrong ring?" Moral of the story is avoid this nightmare and find a different shop with more competent professionals. After all of this she did give the piercings/rings for free... read more

My 15 year old wanted her nose pierced and researched online for a location. We first went to a place in Manassas which turned out to be sketchy and the guy was very rude. Our second attempt was Inkiadore. My daughter is convinced it was meant to be and that is why the first place didn't work out! The place was clean, in a great location, and had a very cool vibe. Natasha took the time and talked to me as to what I was looking for and gave me ideas as how we can make it my own and suggested certain shadings and style. The time she took discussing what I wanted impressed me and when it came time to do the tattoo, between her input and my input during the process turned out an unbelievable water color design that was beautiful, feminine and my very own. My friends and I Booked an appointment here to get matching tattoos. Their scheduling system sent my friends and I Incorrect appointment times. When we arrived, Natasha was very unprofessional and combative and let us know she may not be able to tattoo all of us. When I asked for my deposit back if I wasn't able to get tattooed she said no, but you can reschedule. Mind you, it wasn't our fault--it was the system, she then went on to tell us that "we don't have to get them done at all" in a very rude tone. Needless to say, We ended up leaving Immediately, we refuse to be treated this way and do not trust anyone with this attitude to tattoo us. I don't recommend spending your money here. Got my nose pierced here and it never healed. It bled profusely for 3 days and then developed a big bump on the inside and outside. When I went to get it checked out at a more reputable studio, they said it had been pierced at a bad angle and with cheap jewelry, and would not heal. I had to take it out and will get it re pierced somewhere else. Definitely wouldn't recommend getting pierced here. read more

So I wanted to love this place. I got several piercings done here without much knowledge (both tragus, both conch, daith, and industrial) and was having trouble healing them up. I expect my piercer to know what they're doing and explain the processes to me and the proper way to care for them and give me guidance on what works for my ear structure. They're supposed to be the expert here, right? Went back several times (like SEVEN TIMES OVER TWO MONTHS) and spoke to several different piercers there about various irritation bumps that were really bothering me. Each time I got the same advice: keep with the sea salt soaks, add a little diluted tea tree oil and it will be fine. I thought it might be an allergy to the "surgical steel" piercings (which all contain nickel) and asked if they carried titanium. They did not. WHICH IS WEIRD BECAUSE NICKEL ALLERGIES ARE SUPER COMMON. After a few months of recurring issues, I decided to go to a different piercer. I went to the APP website and found a piercer at Fatty's Tattoos and Piercings who was a member. Dennis (cannot thank him enough) took one glance at each ear and broke the news - NOT A SINGLE PIERCING WAS PLACED CORRECTLY. Not only that, but my ear structure isn't right for an industrial and they should NEVER have pierced me there. Dennis starts taking the jewelry out and as he does so, he identifies even more issues: they used externally threaded jewelry on all their jewelry (not safe), one tragus was placed too deeply, one tragus was placed too shallow, the daith was completely incorrect AND they used the wrong type of jewelry, one of the conch piercings was too loose and kept getting caught on shit, one conch was too tight and he had to struggle to remove it from where it was digging into my skin, AND their advice about the sea salt soaks (apparently an outdated method of healing piercings) caused my industrial to develop a wet abscess. They also never offered guidance about how long to wait between piercings, not doing both ears at the same time, etc. Hopefully, I should be able to heal up in 2-3 months and get my piercings done correctly over a safe period of time with jewelry that doesn't harm my body (provided I don't have to get my abscess lanced) but others may not be so lucky. I'm posting this review, not because I want to hurt a business that took my money and harmed my body, but because there are others that may not have the knowledge to recognize a reputable and safe piercer. I put my trust in what I thought was a professional, and I hope others don't do the same here. Stay safe people, and use piercers that are members of the APP. read more

Incredibly disappointed with my experience at InkIadore. I came in with an idea for a personalized tattoo. At my initial appointment I told the artist and staff how important this piece was to me, as I was getting it done to commemorate my mom who passed away recently. I was assured that the artist would design a piece to my specifications and was told an artist would send me a mock-up of my piece two weeks before my appointment. Two weeks came and went, but never got any art. Followed up, and was told the artist was "working on it" and would get back to me in a week. A week before my appointment again came and went and I called again, same story. Sent texts and left messages with staff for my artist, but never got any calls back. Called again the week of my scheduled appointment, but nothing. Not once did I get a call or a text back from anyone. Such a scam. Everyone I spoke with was polite, but utterly unhelpful; essentially giving empty promises that "they would check and get back to me" which never happened. DO NOT recommend. An absolute scam and a waste of money. I expect a FULL refund. read more

Went to Inkiadore for the 1st time to get some piercings. Cameron was there super early at 10am and ready to answer all my questions and pierce me. I had my nose pierced years ago at a different shop and I was nervous because I recalled how painful and bloody it was. My experience with Cameron was nothing like my 1st horrible experience at the other shop. In fact, it was super quick and painless! I love his technique of allowing you to get 5 deep breaths in and out before the piercing which helped to totally relax and calm me! I ended up getting 3 piercings at once (nose, belly button and surface tragus) and plan to go back to get more piercings and I'm bringing my daughter to get her nose and belly button pierced as well! I'm so happy I found the shop and didn't have to go all the way back to DC for my piercings! I got my Philtrum piercing done a year ago and it still hasn't healed! The person who did it was the owner. She had the longest nails! I was nervous because how was she going to be able to screw on the tiny ball of the piercing jewelry!? Well what was probably a minute or two felt like a very long time. I have many piercings and have never had a problem with any of them. And were fast procedures. She couldn't screw on the ball of the jewelry. Let alone she couldn't even grab it off the tray! My lip is constantly swollen. I have a keloid on the inside that never goes away! She didn't even screw it in right it unscrewed some how the next day. I had swallowed it! I had to have one of her other employees fix it. I did not want her to touch my piercing any further! It was the worst experience ever! I don't recommend this place to anyone! I regret coming here! It felt completely unsanitary with her doing my piercing with those nails! And it never even healed correctly! I've done everything to heal my infected lip. Worst place ever to get your piercing!
