The place is really clean, they're very sanitary, and the dudes working here all seem nice and chill. As an FYI for other first timers, a 1x1 is $60 and a 2x2 is $80. Adrian was the guy who did my first tattoo and he made the whole experience easy. Turned my idea into reality and I love it. He was really nice and super chill. He made sure I was ready before he started and prepared for the after care. I'll for sure be back and looking for him should I decide to get more work done. My tattoo was a 1.5x1.5 and I was charged $70. Also if you're curious about pain, it was tolerable for me. It just felt like a sharp needle running across your skin, as if it's cutting you. We all know that feeling of losing a loved one or a best friend. We my best friend Chico passed away in January of 2021. The pain I felt in side was on I could not explain. I'm the type of person that I need to feel the pain to release it. I went to InkMindset and had an amazing tattoo done of my fur friend Chico, my service dog. I suffer from PTSD and panic disorder and losing him was devastating. I knew there was pain in my soul but it wasn't a tangible pain. I couldn't physically feel the pain. I sat in that chair for 8 hours, at times I was falling asleep. InkMindset and all the amazing people there help me in the grieving process by giving me the chance to put a physical pain to the emotional pain I was feeling. Now I get to walk around with a beautiful memory of my dog and I don't have the dark void that was living in my body. They released it for me. I can't begin to thank everyone for the amazing kindness and beautiful art that they created for me. They gave me my silver lining in the dark clouds. Came in for Friday the 13th deals on piercings and tattoos. To be honest, my friend and I came because a different tattoo shop closed early that day, but this was hands down the best decision we could've made in terms of shops to choose from. The organization was great, the front desk ladies knew exactly what they were doing and were prepared for such a busy night. Our wait time for piercings was ~1 hour which was really good compared to other places. Enrique did our piercings and made us feel really comfortable by informing us of his process and aftercare. He's really funny so I highly recommend if you want to get rid of some anxiety before your piercing. Our tattoos were done by Rovie. Rovie guided us through the process of understanding the pain level and design positioning. The design I chose was not an original custom piece, but 2 variations of the same design. After almost a week of getting my tattoo done by Josh I went ahead and looked into the finish product completely, and my instinct was right. I went ahead and contacted the studio and spoke with Oreo and informed him about the situation and asked if it could be retouched to look at exactly what the original image is suppose to be, with no hesitation he said sure, yet I wanted him to see the outcome of the first tattoo compared to what was originally suppose to be. He agreed and I then shoot him a picture of the tattoo that was done by Josh and how it was suppose to be. In a couple of minutes he was able to get back to me and set me up to come in the same day at 7pm! I was amazed and worried at the same time since I did not know what to expect after the first incident, and did ask him to assure that the person that was going to retouch the tattoo knew what is suppose to done and how it would come out to be. Upon arriving I was greeted by Oreo with such a great positivity and very welcoming, filled out some paper works, and then headed back to see my tattoo. The artist that did my tattoo and fixed it was Rovie, and I must say he fixed it WONDERFULLY just the way it was supposed to be! Not only was he able to get my tattoo done right, he assured that things was going to be okay and not to worry, and he was RIGHT! During the tattoo session he would ask if everything was okay, and if I was doing okay. This tattoo shop is AMAZING; from the friendly and warm greetings upon entering there establishment, fair pricing, professional individuals, but most especially they assure that there customers are provided with the best service they can provide WITHOUT even putting pressure on their customers as well. I contacted Marianne, @misanthropictattoos on IG, with an idea and a few bad drawings; she responded immediately, we exchanged a few messages and set up an appointment. She followed up with three options, all incorporating the the things I wanted included, prior to my appointment and I walked out of Inked Mindset with a beautiful piece, my first. This tattoo could have been a disaster, as it is small and includes four symbols/items that have absolutely no relationship to one another; instead, it is ethereal and so much more than I hoped for. The tattoo alone earns Inked Mindset a five star + rating, their customer service means they deserve five more.
