Everything was good. I took my time to write them good reviews on yelp and google as a way of saying thank you and helping a business. 2nd time around, husband of the lady grabs the phone, doesn't let me speak, completely loses his temper when all I was doing is politely asking the lady whether they can fix the print or not in a timely manner before sun goes down. I told her many times that IF they couldn't, it was okay. If they are booked it's not their fault, I understand I DID NOT push them, I just called to follow up because I have a deadline I need to meet. I even said if they can't do it then just to tell me "NO", but I need to know because I have a deadline, but instead the guy loses it, yells at me in a threatening tone and tells me to "Come and pick my shit up" refusing service, not to mention, yesterday they told me they would squeeze me in yesterday night... Extremely unprofessional. Next time if you can't do the work, just nicely say "I'm sorry we would love to help you but we are completely booked" that's all you guys had to do. I will have no choice but to do the video without the outfit, and that's okay, I just wish you told me no from the beginning instead of screaming at me on the phone. I called around about 6 places and spoke to Carlos and he was able to give me a general quote assuming the info I gave him was what we really ended up printing. His prices were more than 25% less than his competitors. Having printed a bazillion shirts over the last 15 years with a number of vendors, no one ever does all the things just right. The quality, the speed, the communication, the cost, etc. It's hard to find someone that hits ALL of those. Carlos hits all of it perfectly. I only printed 75 shirts but he treated me like a 1,000+ shirt customer. His place is down the alley off of Ke'eaumoku..where Asahi Grill is. You go to the end and up the ramp and its' a small print shop right at the top of the ramp. It's SUPER CLEAN and neat and organized. Carlos had my shirts done is less than two days...it was so fast it may have been closer to a day. I can't remember. He's the NICEST man. The printing is PERFECT. PERFECT. We talked story for a while and I learned about how long he's been in the business. You can tell he cares about his work and his business. I'm so happy I found Amano prints. I really liked my experience at the Collective by Hawaii's Finest. I was talking to my family about…read moremaking a custom t-shirt that afternoon and by happenstance, I bumped into the Collective that night and it was pure perfection. The customer service was awesome and friendly. I tried a few different t-shirts to make sure it was the right fit and look and emailed them the file I wanted printed and it was printed fairly quickly. The t-shirt was $20 plus a back design for $10 and another $5 for a front pocket-sized design, so I spent about $36 total. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the t-shirt, I do recommend sending a larger file png if you're going that route because mine was a bit pixelated when blown up on the back. But still no complaints since I basically found the image on my phone and on the spot. Had I been more prepared I would have sent a high-quality image and resolution at 300dpi at the minimum.
