Hands down the BEST tattoo shop in East Texas! When I was 18, I found Meghan through a friend and as soon as I entered the shop, I had such good vibes from she and her husband! I had an idea for my first tattoo and she drew it up for me, and got me in the next few days. They are both down-to-earth, super funny and easy to talk to! When I went in for my first tattoo, I was a little nervous and I told her I had a habit of passing out, and she took me to the back and I had tamales with her and Scott before she started! Lol. And I was nervous for absolutely nothing because she has a very light hand, and she talked to me through the whole thing! Plus my tattoo came out phenomenal and it only took her 30 mins! Since then, my boyfriend and I have gone back every time we want a new tattoo! 5 tattoos later and still counting. She is a wonderful artist as well, she can draw up almost anything and is willing to work with you on your ideas and will give her honest opinion so that it looks amazing on you! We won't go to another artist! We get so many compliments on our tattoos and we refer everyone that asks to Ink Armory! I was referred to this shop a couple of years ago by a friend who'd gotten several pieces done by her. The shop is owned by two Marines so I was automatically interested in seeing what she was capable of. The first tattoo done by the artist, I was hooked. The colors were vivid and so detailed. It was a cover up that another "artist" completely butchered. Thank GOODNESS i don't have to look at that mess anymore. The second and subsequent pieces - all gorgeous. I like the professionalism and the no - nonsense attitude. If they don't like what you want, you can go elsewhere. I personally watched them turn down a tattoo that symbolized racism because they didn't agree to it. The shop is clean and they maintain a friendly environment. They do not allow drama - take your whiny self elsewhere! They don't condone the "smoking" lifestyle or any illegal activity. Very police, fire, EMS, and military friendly. Its not sleazy nor do they drink at the shop - like I've seen in the past. I'm constantly complimented on my work and I am quick to refer anyone to her. For those wanting an HONEST artist, who will also pay attn to the smallest of details...this is your place. I have returned to Meghan for 3 years now and each time, I am 110% pleased with my ink. I know that the pricing will always be more than fair and that she will work with me on a well laid plan, rather than diving into a huge undertaking with "meter running." She has an eye for flare & crucial little details which makes each piece more than a picture on your skin.....it is a piece with character, depth and creative vision. There are a lot of ppl that "claim" to be able to tattoo, just because you can buy a tattoo gun online doesn't mean you should be using it! I've seen some pretty horrible tats showcased lately....y'all should've went to Meghan and not the $20 guy. I've been using these guys for almost 2 years now Meg has done both my hands 2 portraits and is about halfway through both my sleeves a cover up and my wife's cover up the prices are great especially considering the absolutely AMAZING!!!! artwork she does everyone knows you get what you pay for when it comes to tattoos but u get so much more from here your hard earned money is well spent and it goes to a couple of Veterans at that so to me that's a win win I would and have recommended her for any of your tattoo needs I will never use another artist if you like a good clean shop with great people and custom work you will be proud to show off then ink armory is ur place read more

This is a great tattoo studio the owner/artist has a great personality matched with the ability to use any style requested by her clients. I went in with about 6 other people to get a memorial tattoo. Meghan and her husband were patient with us as we figured out what we wanted. They drew up our designs and were really great while we discussed the details. She was amazing while we each took turns getting our tattoos.
