Katie is AMAZING!! I am over the top so happy with the results of my last treatment. I am 51and I was starting to get the droopy, thinning, sagging skin around my mouth , cheeks and jawline. I also have large pores which gives my skin somewhat of an orange peel look and texture. I can't remember what it is called but she basically placed little tiny amounts of filler all over the lower half of my face. It is somewhat of a tedious procedure but she is a perfectionist and very skilled. She placed a topical cream on my face first to numb it which worked great, I hardly felt any discomfort. She made me look seriously 10 years younger!!! It smoothed out the texture of my skin, completely removed the saggy droopy look, smoothed out the wrinkles around my mouth!! I look at my face now and smile!! I am still amazed at how much better my skin looks! And it looks totally natural!! You can't tell at all that I have filler in my face. I was wary about getting fillers because I had an experience years ago where I felt like I was sort of an experiment and was not happy with the results. I had heard about Katie and Injecting Confidence through a friend who had gotten amazing results with her. She joked that Katie was "the skin whisperer" because she can take one look at a persons face and she knows exactly what they need. As a man, I had never gotten any type of beauty treatments or Botox and to be honest have no clue how any of that stuff works. Katie instantly put me at ease with her calm demeanor and friendly smile. She explained all the different options I had, what each one does and how much they all cost. I simply wanted some of the dark spots on my face gone along with a small intradermal nevus (small bump/skin legion on my nose). After Katie explained everything in great detail we decided to go with an IPL (Intense Pulse Light) therapy. That's where she takes a high powered laser and zaps the "age spots" on my face. There were certainly more expensive options but Katie seemed to sense my hesitation on doing anything too radical and I really appreciated her honesty and not trying to "sell me" on more expensive treatments. Its now been a little over a week and my face looks AMAZING! Katie does great work but she doesn't have the kind of integrity and personal consistency you'd expect for the services she provides. She made me feel super unwelcome the last couple of times I saw her because she was annoyed with how I scheduled, and because of this, I started going elsewhere. When I saw that she'd had another woman join the business I immediately scheduled with Heather. Heather is amazing and no one does 11's like she does. Unfortunately, Katie wasn't able to get over whatever her personal issue was with me specifically and the night before I was scheduled with Heather (October 2022,) also on a $10/unit Botox day, she sent me a text telling me she was taking me off the schedule because she didn't want to provide services to me anymore. But she'd be "happy" to refer me elsewhere.... Huh?? I've never experienced a more unprofessional situation and still find it comical that she reduced to this rather than allowing me to understand what her actual issue with me was. She's a mean girl and flexes that wherever she feels she needs to. Women support each other and Katie is not someone I will ever refer out again. Katie is a mom and a business owner and I am all for supporting her; it's hard to write this review putting her in a negative light, but after this recent situation I no longer will or feel the need to support her practices- how ironic that her spa claims to build confidence.. she basically humiliated me. Katie feels she's above everyone and as long as she likes you, hopefully you'll never experience the wrath. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has. I loved this woman's personality, she was so friendly. But, I was visiting from out of town and tried to explain what my usual doctor does for my issues. Basically, what I needed from her.
