He is very communicative by phone and text, reasonable with pricing, and excellent with alterations. For those clothes that aren't getting consistent rotation in the lineup due to our overweight selves or style preferences, Don can make magic. Shoot him a text or call, you will be a customer for life.

Weirdest experience. I wanted to try Don and realized I was sent somewhere else. So reviewing the…read moreexperience of calling and arranging a fitting. I will likely try a business shop vs home shop next time. I called multiple times and arranged for a fitting to alter two jackets. First Don said he was available the next day and to call back. I did and arranged to stop by, kept asking for the address, and finally he gave it to me, but called back later and ask I stop by later that day. When I tried again in the afternoon, he gave me an address and said his sister is helping him and will meet with me. Went to the home and the man introduced himself as Don so I was so confused. He said a business partner is sending him leadals, maybe that is Don? The woman (Loan) was very sweet who did my alterations. Anyway, whoever I ended up being sent to was ok but it wasnt Don and cant find her listing to leave a review there. Leaving this here so others are aware they may be sent elsewhere instead of Don. The alterations for 2 jackets were ok. One jacket was perfect but the other was looser and not quite as tailored. Price was cheaper than standard so I was not too upset, you get what you pay for.

I'm not someone who leaves bad reviews unless I genuinely feel a business deserves it…read more I called on a Thursday about a tie that had twisted stitching, causing the front blade not to lay flat. I actually had two ties with the same issue. He said he thought he could fix them, so I drove over to give him a chance. He told me to leave one tie first, and if I was happy with the result, he'd work on the second one. Fair enough. He asked me to come back Tuesday. The shop itself was also concerning. It looked extremely cluttered, with clothing and orders piled everywhere. It honestly felt more like a hoarder's house than a tailor shop. Before I left, I also asked if he could make a tie skinnier. He said yes, for $45. No problem. I came back on Wednesday and asked for an update. He told me he hadn't even started because he'd been too busy. I looked down, and my tie was still sitting in the exact same spot where I'd left it, untouched, on top of a pile of other clothes. I wasn't upset about the delay. Things happen. He started giving me his phone number so I could call him later, but I told him I already had it. Then I tried to hand him another tie that I simply wanted made skinnier. I couldn't even finish explaining what I wanted because he kept cutting me off and assuming it had the same repair issue as the first tie. I repeatedly tried to explain that this was just a standard alteration, but he wouldn't listen. Instead, he insisted he wouldn't take the second tie until the first one was finished. That made no sense to me. If it's a service he offers, why not just accept the tie and work on it whenever he has time? At that point, I took both ties back and decided to go somewhere else. The whole experience was a waste of time. Poor organization, rude communication, and an extremely messy shop. His prices may be reasonable, but that's not enough when the customer experience is this frustrating.

Her space is clean, calm, and elegant, which matches her energy. I felt so safe leaving my gown in her capable hands, and she treated it as if it were as special to her as it is to me. My gown was vintage and came in with a few challenging stains and repairs. She offered valuable advice on design choices I didn't even know I had, and did so with respect to my own style. She was very accommodating with scheduling, welcoming of my guests (friends and family) during fittings, and responded quickly to all communication. I couldn't be happier with my choice to bring my wedding gown to Bridgette, and would refer any loved ones looking for bridal alterations to her in a heartbeat! Thank you, Bridgette, for everything you've done to make our wedding that much more magical.

Bridgette helped me transform my grandmother's hand-sewn wedding gown from 1947 into my dream…read moredress. I came to her with very little knowledge about the process or what was even possible with the gown. She helped me create a vision, gave me thoughtful structural advice and options, and guided me toward decisions that ultimately led to the wedding gown of my dreams. She began by having the dress cleaned and brought back to its original color, then stripped it down to the base fabric and rebuilt it from there. We discovered it was just slightly too short, so she offered creative suggestions for how to work with it. She was patient with me at every appointment as we discovered what would work with the realities of the dress while still honoring my new vision. She added multiple layers, boning, and the perfect basque waist, and now it fits me beautifully. It is also surprisingly comfortable. What started as a 79-year-old vintage family heirloom became a bespoke couture wedding gown that feels like it came from a high-end boutique. I am forever grateful for Bridgette's patience, creativity, and expertise and would recommend her to any family, friend or loved one looking for a personalized, uplifting experience! Professional photos of the dress to follow.
