She said it wasn't free, never told us why, then proceeds to tell us to get out of the store. I work with a lot of costumer service and if a costumer is asking why something is wrong, then i would either if i don't know ask my manager who should know everything what's going on in the store or tell them why. She never said sorry when she was wrong, and then shooed us out like we are nasty children. they were lower staffed, but no one would ever do that in my store (we are low staffed everyday). When I got to the register, my total came out to $2.01, which I knew was a cent too high. I was already a little frustrated about the price increase, and when I questioned it, the employee at the register immediately got an attitude. Instead of explaining things or helping, she seemed annoyed and acted unprofessionally the entire time. What makes this more frustrating is that every other employee I've dealt with there has been helpful, respectful, and great with customers. This particular employee, though, consistently comes off as unpleasant and even seems to question regulars rather than just providing good service. I'll still come in because I like the store, but I really hope management addresses this kind of behavior because it stands out compared to the otherwise positive experiences I usually have.
