Dr. Ingleton is great but their office staff is horrible beyond description. They have been making mistakes with my appointments with another patient whose name is similar to mine. And it's an ordeal to straighten it out since their office staff including their manager have absolutely no idea on customer service. Like i said, Dr. Ingleton is great but this is NY and there are better dermatologists out there with more friendly staff. I'm never going here again. read more

Holy jeez! I typed in Bandow to get the phone number to make an appointment and passed the yelp page...took a look and am shocked at the experience some people are having! I never take the time to write reviews, but... I LOVE Grace Bandow. I recommend her to all my friends. (And they love her, too.) Not only is she just super sweet and explains everything and answers any and all questions, she does a great job with the actual skin stuff. I noticed some people said she doesn't explain things. Who knows, maybe she's so used to a certain type of New York lady is is not afraid to ASK, so she doesn't go overboard with it. Speak up! She and I always have a laugh, I ask TONS of questions, and she explains every one. The assistants there are super nice, too. Also, I was scared about the Botox thing, but she is great at tailoring it to your needs. It's an art, people. It's not one size fits all, like some of the reviewers seem to think. I noticed one reviewer got upset because Dr. Ingleton - not Bandow - used too LOW a dose. Maria V.: "BEWARE! I went there for botox with R. Ingleton but what she used was a weak formula and it didn't work very well." I say PLEASE go light and ramp up as you see how your body reacts! Smart doctor. You don't want to look like a zombie. Or worse: an actress. JK. :^) I'm sure Maria is not making it up, but it does surprise me that she is saying it cost her $800 for a "weak" formula. Mine has never been over $500 and Bandow does my forehead, between the brows and around the eyes. And that's with her putting in as much as I will take before I feel like people can really tell. Which I think is embarrassing. I guess it's like anything that people pay for: some people want everyone to KNOW that they had something done, and some people don't. I just want to look good. Not obvious. Every time I go back, we tweak the Botox. It's a bunch of tiny shots in different muscles. She asks me how things looked as it sunk it, and then wears off. Too much of the Batman eyebrow thing? OK, let's lower the dosage on that spot, and take it up a notch on the opposing muscles. Basically, I have had nothing but great experiences there with the entire staff, from the receptionist to Dr. Bandow. read more

Terrible!!! I waited two months to see Dr. Ingleton regarding a skin condition and by my appointment date she was over booked!! When I arrived She had 4 people ahead of me in the waiting area and I only came during my lunch break therefore did not have the leisure to sit around in the waiting area. I do not recommend this place if you are looking for professionalism and efficiency. read more

I wish I could review the office and Dr. Grace Bandow seperatly! Dr. B is wonderful! Thoughtful, thorough and kind. I have gone a couple times for keloid treatments which can be painful but she has been a delight. Unfortunately they don't accept my United Healthcare Oxford insurance. I'm soooo bummed! Short wait time, friendly nursing and desk staff I couldn't ask for more. PLEASE START ACCEPTING OXFORD!!!! read more

I haven't been going to this dermatologist long enough to fully experience whether Dr. Ingleton's methods will work for me or not but in the past three or four months that I have been seeing her, I can say that there has not been one instance where I have made an appointment and she has kept to that schedule. For that reason alone is why I'm apprehensive about continuing to go. I appreciate that Doctors might have a heavy case load but keep people waiting for 45 minutes to an 1hr every single appointment when most likely they are sneaking out of work is frustrating. I left my appointment today because of this. read more

Got the recommendation for Dr. Ingleton off Yelp as I was unhappy with my previous dermatologist in resolving my skin problems. Dr. Ingelton totally didn't disappoint she's super friendly, amazingly helpful and a very cool lady. I've already given her name out to a few friends as I was so impressed. read more

Dr. Ingleton is amazing. Hands down. I've been going to her monthly since October 2012 and have seen dramatic improvements. Once I had a unexpectedly bad reaction to a treatment and her and her whole team were right on top of it and really helped me out. I feel like her staff really cares and are amazingly professional. She's recommended additional products to me and I always get them because I know that she knows what's best and she's not just trying to get my money. I feel a really great connection with her and she's gone above and beyond in encouraging me to manage my stress (which was the root cause of my skin issues). Big shout out to Melissa and Lisette. The MA team is amazing and truly cares about people. Robert at the front desk is really nice and professional (and gorgeous! hahaha). Everyone has always made me feel comfortable when I come into the office, even on the days when I'm feeling down, stressed or tired. I LOOOOOOOOVE Michelle. She's so warm and really cares. I've only worked with Brooke once and she was also really caring and professional. More times than not, I'm seen as soon as I get into the office and haven't spent long waiting (only on the days when I come super early to an appointment). I seriously don't understand any review on here that's less than 5 stars. I have never ever ever ever had a better experience or more success in my ENTIRE LIFE dealing with my skin issues than I've had with Dr. Ingleton and her team. read more

Absolutely love the attention I receive from Ingleton Dermatology. Have been a patient of Dr. Ingleton for over 15 years. In that time as hormones changed, my skin has required attention for issues such as maintaining hydration, adult acne, allergic reactions and mysterious rashes, keloids and hyperpigmentation. All have been addressed with sensitivity and thoroughness. There have been times when patients ahead have needed the additional time and attention graciously afforded me, so I understand a possible wait, but the end results are well worth the wait. read more

I have been a patient of Dr Ingleton for 8 years. I referred tons of people to her, but I always had an issue with her office staff, her booking process has been very difficult and frustrating and she is always always late unless you book first appointment of the day. After finding out a friend of mine who saw her once got an early appointment when I have been asking for over a month for an earlier date I called back and asked the office manager what was the issue. Apparently few years ago I posted on Instagram my frustration about her office staff and booking system and since then they were really unhappy with me and didn't really want me as a patient anymore. But by the manager's words "doctor Ingleton was kind enough to take me back!" (Every time I go see her I spend around $2000 but thank you!) she might be a good doctor but not worth this vindictiveness. The worst is they never addressed the issue with me, just kept on making things difficult for me every time I called until I quit. I am extremely disappointed and shocked by this horrible behavior and I wish I left years ago. I understand doctor ingleton has to stand by her staff but I wish she would have talked to me about this, but most importantly for her business try to understand the issue I had with her staff, trying to improve her service...Anyway there are tons of great doctors in the city who don't make you wait 2hs for your appointment and make you deal with mean spirited staff. And as you can see in the other reviews I am unfortunately not the only person who had to deal with her mean spirited staff. So sad! read more

Dr. Ingleton is very skilled. She is professional and artistic. A very rare combination of required skill set for aesthetic services. You could not be in better care for these services. You can tell she loves what she does and is a perfectionist. There are a lot of clinics and professionals offering these services but to have an artistic talent is going to another level. Further being served by a board certified Dermatologist you can be assured of quality care. She prefers a natural look and if you like that look where you got something done, but keep people guessing Dr. Ingleton is the doctor for you. read more

Funny story...I haven't been to this doctor's office for years, remembering the last time I came it wasn't the most expert visit (not to be confused with professional--the professionalism was great. Just felt like with Google and a prescription pad, I could've faired as well on my own). And it felt more like a cosmetic center than the "doctor's" office I remembered on my first visit with Dr. Ingleton herself. I also sought her wanting to have an African American doc, and haven't seen one in her practice since the first visit. Nonetheless, I decided now 3 years later, to go back and try the group of docs again. So I just arrived to the appointment 11 minutes late and was turned away. Mind you the delay was because of train delays and still I arrived only 1 minute delayed from their 10m courtesy window. My other doctors even are courteous enough to call and make sure everything is ok if I'm delayed--but nope. So, yes, I'm dinging them because, although the front desk staff wanted to help me reschedule--it'd been much more courteous to accommodate the fact that it was 1 minute outside of the window, and I was drenched in sweat from hurrying there after getting off of the train amid a heatwave to visit the doc. And if that couldn't be accommodated, getting up to check with the doc to create an optic of checking would have been appreciated. This will be my last attempt to make them my primary derm, but again this review is not to criticize their actual ability to practice medicine, but moreso about their policies and lack of accommodation. --Sincerely Hot, Sweating & Annoyed. read more

I have seen Dr. Ingleton for over 10 years and have always had a fantastic experience and outcomes. She has always provided thorough care and helped manage any issues. It is always a pleasure to see her and her staff and I wouldn't chose any other practice in the city. Her care is top notch and highly recommended! read more

I first met Doctor Ingleton, as the result of an accident. I had run into a nail that was sticking out of a door at a family member's home. I contacted Dr. Ingleton's Office in a panic and she literally came into the office on a Saturday to take care of me. Since then, the thing I like most about Dr. Ingleton is that she and her staff really understand the importance of creating an exceptional customer experience. I have never been disappointed in that regard. And I find Dr. Ingleton to be a superb doctor: exceptionally smart, caring, honest and a good listener! read more

I don't normally write reviews, but I felt compelled to leave a note for anyone looking for an all around great dermatologist. Dr. Ingleton was referred to me 10 years ago because of an eczema episode that wouldn't go away. She did something that no dr. has done for my condition since childhood, she took a biopsy. With the results, we found a cure. Since then, she has brilliantly handled any skin ailment I've had. My last visit was a couple of months ago and, as usual, her staff was pleasant and easy going. I can't imagine going anywhere else. I highly recommend them. read more

I found Dr. Ingleton in 2002; adult acne was ruining my life and I was desperate to fix my skin. Dr. Ingleton was the first dermatologist to understand what my triggers were and how to combat them. Since then, I've been a patient with allergic reactions, breakouts AND beauty visits. She and her staff do it all. Her calm bedside manor has made all the difference in emergency visits and beauty visits alike. Its so rare to find a doctor who takes the time know and understand each of her patient's needs. And the staff is terrific; friendly and knowledgable. She and the whole team always go out of their way to accommodate me. Highly recommend! read more

Went to see Dr. Fishman again for a routine check up and I love her because she's not crazy about expensive creams and treatments and such; a few freckles are perfectly fine. She also gave me a coupon for a treatment product since she wasn't sure if it would work so the first round was free, I totally appreciate that. read more

Having experiencing the troubles of Thyroid issues, my hair started to take a toll. I wanted to find someone that could understand how dramatic this can be and offer up all the solutions possible. Highly recommend. I came to Dr Ingleton with adult acne and had the best experience with Accutane (under her close supervision). She takes insurance which is unheard of in Manhattan, at least for dermatologists that know what they are doing. I hear she is also an amazing expert with darker skin tones and facial fillers. Dr Ingleton is super sweet and nice and very knowledgeable about all sorts of skin conditions (I've had a few issues over the years). She can recommend skin care products and treatments but is not pushy like some others. She also looks AMAZING - a true testament to her craft! read more

I used to go to Dr. Fishman, who worked out of this office. Since she left, I've been going to Dr. Ingleton (and I saw her a few times while Dr. Fishman was away while I was on Accutane). I've been to a number of not-so-great dermatologists, but Dr. Ingleton is fantastic and I've been really happy with her. She addresses every concern, has a lot of experience so her recommendations usually take care of any problems, and she's really generous with product samples. She's also super nice. Thumbs up, Dr. Ingleton! read more

My skin is very happy... Thank you Dr Ingleton. Calming music, Lovely staff and always a basket of samples to try.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I went into the office to get injection to take care of my pimple and all they did was give me prescription. I also have insurance but I ask person at the front desk that I wanted to ask about different leaser for my skin to improve scars they said that my insurance would not cover cosmetic consultation and it would cost me $300 to just ask questions about my skin. I went to other doctors and was able to ask about what lasers would be good to treat my scars and to ask about my over treatment of my skin and was never told that it would be called a cosmetic consultation before, I could not even ask about prices for leaser treatment because that question would be considered cosmetic consultation this place is a joke, They have way better places that this that not going to try to rip you off of your hard earn money read more

Dr. Kihiszak missed my skin cancer. I had to go to another doctor. Equally bad, even tho I paid for a 'full body scan", the scan took less than 3 minutes (no exaggeration) and she used neither a magnifier nor a light. When I expressed dismay that it was so short, she got very defensive and said she knows what to look for. Evidently she doesn't. I had skin cancer and she missed it. When I went to another dermatologist, I did not tell him...he proceeded to do a 20 minute full body scan and found the cancer and another spot that we are now watching. Be warned. Your health is worth more. read more

I've been going back to Dr. Kihiczak now for more than two years. She has an excellent bedside manner and is very skilled at treating the skin problems I had. The office wait time was minimal and the staff was most pleasant. I continue to highly recommend this practice and Dr. Kihiczak. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Ingleton happily for years. After a two year hiatus (insurance change), I went back today and saw her partner Dr. Kihiczak. She told me she was prescribing three separate creams for my acne, and I asked specifically for low-cost version that my insurance would cover. She said I could get the creams for free by using something called Rx Direct and Aqua Access and Loyalty Script who will fight with insurance companies to get them to pay for high-priced drugs. When I looked up the creams' ingredients online, they turned out to be benzoyl peroxide, retinol, and a version of of miconazole, all in strengths available over the counter at my own drugstore. I don't know what the incentive is for the doctor to recommend high priced "new" drugs that are the same as reasonably priced existing ones, but I left the office with a very bad feeling. I strongly recommend checking and double-checking an prescription and asking for comparable over the counter or existing medications. read more

The administrative team at this practice is one of the worst I've experienced. Twice in the past year I've had an appointment cancelled without my consent. The first was the initial appointment, and I simply received a cancellation notice in my email. The second was after my preferred doctor left the practice. They called me once while I was in a meeting to notify me she was leaving. I was told I would receive a callback with my options which never occurred. I ended up calling back weeks later to find out they had cancelled the appointment (again). They claimed to have called multiple times (this was untrue, I even reviewed my call history to confirm), and said they also emailed the address on file. I'm very good with email so I was surprised to hear this. I searched my inbox and it's strange that I do have 2 emails from them promoting their services (which I had read), but no email regarding my scheduled appointment, the change surrounding my doctor, or that the appointment would be cancelled. I really wanted to have a go-to place that I could trust and build a relationship with as I believe consistent health care and check-ins are important. If you want more than a single appointment, I wouldn't go here. read more

What a nightmare is the front office and especially the appointment clerk, who put me on hold five times over. an hour She is the most rude person in any medical facility that I've interacted with, talks over the other person, and contradicts herself in the same conversation. Hands down. The best. Been seeing her for 8 years. My skin has never looked better than when I take her advice. Through pregnancy, post partum, winter skin, summer skin - Every now and then, she'll prescribe something expensive, and I"l buy it reluctantly and days later, i'm getting compliments! Don't be turned off by the receptionist staff - who sometimes will act like the woman is just TOO busy to see you. She's not. She can. And you'll be really happy you did. read more

I went to Dr. Ingleton happily for years but I had to stop when I left my corporate job and my generous health insurance benefits went with it. My skin has since suffered. I stopped by Dr. Ingleton's office recently to purchase some of the over the counter products she had recommended to me. I was appalled when her office assistant, Robert, was downright rude to me. I didn't recall the name of the products and asked him to let me see a couple of bottles up close to confirm my selection. Less than 2 minutes into assisting me he mumbled under his breath, said "I'm going to lunch" aloud, and told a colleague to help me when she got off the phone. He literally walked away from me in the midst of my request. I stood there, dumbfounded, 5 additional minutes, waiting to be assisted. The woman who eventually helped me was apologetic, patient, and quite capable. But I am still appalled by what it took for me to purchase $200 in lotion. If Robert doesn't have the patience to deal with the public, he should consider another line of work. I am also a small business owner and I take my Yelp reviews very seriously. I would have communicated my sentiments to Dr. Ingleton via email if I could. Perhaps she should spend less money on her flashy website which takes too long to load and doesn't even have a "Contact us" tab, and invest in better caliber office staff. read more

I made an appointment with Cybele Fishman based on Texas M.'s recommendation. She was totally on the mark. Dr. Fishman was awesome. She really does maintain eye contact, answers all questions forthrightly and was just....cool! I am extremely happy with the way I was treated today (esp. compared to NYDermatology, which was a complete waste of time) and I am looking forward to working on my new acne treatment regimen with her. She gave me coupons, an enormous cream sample that will last a month, and she even told me that if my pharmacy tries to charge me a lot for my topical prescription, to call her (!) and she will change the prescription to something else. I have never in my life had a physician offer to do that. I am impressed and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reasonable, easy-going doctor who actually does what a dermatologist should: help you with your skin problems, without trying to sell you thousands of dollars worth of laser treatments. Hopefully, her treatments live up to her bedside manner :) I'll repost when I have definitive results..... read more

i went to ingleton dermatology last month due to the fact that my dermatologist was on maternity leave and i broke out around my jaw area and i never really broke out on those area before! after few research on yelp, i decided to booked an appointment with dr.grace bandow the office is more like a medi-spa more than a dermatologist office.. i went in and saw dr. grace, she was nice and really friendly-she looked at my skin and gave me a few shots on pimples without even asked me( my dermatogist always asks me before she does any procedure that will cost me extra since she knows and concern that i am paying for myself) she prescribed me about 5 items i need to get and tell me to come back and see her in a month.. when i checked out i got charged 300$ !! 200 for dr. visit and 100$ extra for few shots she gave me before asking eventhough she's completely aware that i am paying for myself without insurance.. i felt a lil bit annoyed by the way that she didn't let me know the extra cost (-just like when u go get a facial and the esthetician put on some extra mask without telling u that it will cost 30$ extra! and make you felt ripped off! ) later that day i went to duane reade and they ask me if i have any insurance and i said no, i will pay for it myself.. then the bad news roll along-- apperently , dr. grace has prescribed me a 1500$ of cream and med!!!! eventhough i'm self-pay?!? this trip to ingelton derm cost me almost 2000$ !! what got me mad is because everytime i went to see dr. mikhali at spring derm it only cost me 150$ for dr. visit she always gave me enough samples to last for month until i see her next time and she never ever give me a shot or performed any addtional services that cost extra without asking me if i would like to get those...since she really do care that i will be the one paying for it all by myself) anyway, i did purchased some cream that she prescribed but it apperently too stong for my skin so i have to stop using it after a week.. you see... if dr.grace even care about your patient a bit- read my profile a bit- to know that i'm a self pay - she wouldn't try to pescribed me 1500 dollars for a mild acne....or maybe she did read it but she just does'nt give a damn about it.. and well i learned my lesson..... if you're a freelancer or student with no insurance -- please do not come here, this is not a place for you.. read more

Beautiful office. Great staff! Reasonably priced & the BEST PART, is Dr Rosemary Ingleton! She is an artist. Plain & simple. She is focused, caring, efficient & her work is unmatched. Subtly & youth.
