Terrible, worse ingles ever. Both deli managers Are fat and lazy, took an hour for two of them just to make tea. They're always on their phones and rude to old people and retirees just trying to buy food and drinks. Zero manners no politeness no work ethic. every other ingles I've been to has been great but this one is so bad it makes me not want to ever visit one again. Especially the deli managers, worse service customer care I have ever received in my life. Looking at the other reviews tells me I'm not the only upset custome. I hope corporate cleans house and puts some decent people in charge. read more

This is the worst deli I have ever been too,For a remodel store they have not changed, looking too eat from this deli is looking to get food poisoning, the clerk behind the counter never changed their gloves after touching everything in site.They prepared food without thinking of cross contamination, fixing chicken or making subs,BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU EAT FROM THIS INGLES. read more

One of the few Ingles stores I frequent that don't have a Starbucks, but I won't penalize them for that. Well, just a little. I visit Marion for business, so I don't regularly shop here. But cmon yelpers, no reviews? The bathrooms are always clean, the deli always smells great and I'm always greeted by at least a couple of employees. That's a win in my book. I've been to enough Ingles stores to compare this one to, and this one is definitely one of the best. read more

Ingles Market - Grocery Near Me - Marion, North Carolina

Last few times at Ingles the cashiers were unfriendly. Today the cashier acted like she was doing me a favor by checking me out- 3 days ago I walked into a "lighted" cashier she walked away leaving me waiting for 15 minutes- She was by the counter office, looking like doing nothing except organizing coupons. I finally went to the self checkout and buying beer had to wait again for 5 minutes for someone to check ID! Finally someone with a "white" shirt came to help me- I do not expect people to bend over backwards but a little courtesy is not bad read more

Jush ehhh I would rather drive to Black Mtn for better customer service. Last couple of times I felt like management as well as cashiers were less than friendly. Found some expired items in the cheese area and next time in the yogurt area, I don;t think people are paying enough attention anymore. Also another major issue, boxes in the aisles making it nearly impossible to pass and shop properly. Almost a passive attitude at this location. FYI: I was just told this Ingles was just updated and now has a Starbucks Kiosk in it. The only Starbucks in Marion and on the way to North Cove. You can guess where I work in North Cove yourself. read more

I hate the new improved version. To be fair, construction is continuing on the building, but there's currently only one entrance into the parking lot if you're coming from downtown Marion. Parking is limited, and the traffic pattern around the Burger King is an accident waiting to happen. The parking lot used to be level. Now it slopes downhill toward the store, so when you leave with a full cart of groceries, you get to push the cart uphill all the way. There is a courtyard in front of the store, the purpose of which seems to be to protect the store from anything crashing into it. It also prevents entry from the sides. It's nearly impossible to walk toward the store without being in traffic. There is a side opening on the courtyard but it's partially blocked by a large ashtray/trash container. Lighting is poor in the parking lot. I find myself shopping elsewhere quite often, because it's now a struggle to shop at this location. read more

A Fantastic addition to OUR community of Marion. It has been sometime in the making and it is still being added on. Looking forward to the gas pumps and ALL the one-stop shopping that will be afforded to Marion. The in-store experience is superb and the layout is absolutely beautiful.
