The store is very large so I didn't get to see all of it. They had an area with nice tables where you could sit and eat. I have never seen brewed tea in a grocery store before and wanted to get some but couldn't find the cups. The prices were about average on some things but above average on others. A gallon of milk was 2.00 more at this store than the Walmart we went to earlier in the week. I like that they had a section for many bulk items with bags and stickers but no pen to write with. Both self checkouts and cashiers were available.

Their selection is great and the store well kept. It's just that their core business which is providing groceries lacks focus. Today we picked up a rotisserie chicken that looked more like a chick when we got it home and it was burned to a crisp. I called customer service and they said I could bring it back, not worth driving back there but I wanted them to address the issue with their cooks. Not sure that will happen.

Now Publix just needs to come to Connecticut!…read more I have loved Publix ever since I was a child growing up in South Florida. For years, my grandmother shopped there, my mother shopped there, and honestly everybody I knew shopped there. It was one of my grandmother's favorite stores, so Publix has always felt special and familiar to me. Everyone is always so friendly, the food is delicious, and their bakery... oh my goodness, the Key lime pies are AMAZING! I was so excited when Publix opened in Boone. Every time I visit my family in North Carolina, I buy four Key lime pies to fly home to Connecticut with me. The bakery staff is always so kind and helpful. They leave the pies in the bakery boxes instead of putting them in the plastic pie containers they normally sell them in, which actually makes them much easier and safer to travel with. I use a pie carrier bag, and they always make it so easy. Wonderful customer service every single time!

So I jumped back into the car and headed to the only place that was open this late. Walmart Supercenter is a full store. They have a complete grocery, personal care, electronics, clothes, toys, automotive, even vision and tire centers. I'm familiar with the layout and so I was over to the pharmacy side where I found my two items quickly. The store is tidy and well laid out. The aisles were clear and most shelves were properly stocked. It's not the best Walmart I've been to, but it was a good one. I'm a fan. [Review 12714 overall, 26 of 2020.]

The employees usually don't know anything and always avoid helping you but not Zach. If you need a laptop or any electronics look for Zach.
