not really sure what's going on at this place. the vibe is majorly off and unwelcoming…read more from the moment i first contacted airsculpt to what ended up being the most uncomfortable appointment i have ever experienced in a facility dedicated to beauty. i reached out months ago to no response. i was scheduled and when i had to reschedule they didn't call me back, or respond to my messages. i had to follow up with them! insane. the day before my consult i was told that i would be able to get my procedure done same day so they rescheduled my consult. the day of my consult i called them asking exactly what time i should be there in case i decide to move forward with my surgery same day. to which i was told the doctor is too busy and won't be able to see me that day. i told them if i won't be getting the surgery i don't want to just leave my house carrying 50k in cash.. i mentioned multiple times in multiple conversations that i would like to pay outright for my procedure. yet during my breakdown after my consult i was given about 12 different financing companies to sign up with. when i specifically mentioned i wanted to pay all cash for this procedure. the doctor seemed alright, but everyone that i met here seemed robotic, cold, and painfully unfriendly. while i was seated in the treatment consult office i was told if we get the financing done today the doctor can in fact see me? after telling me the doctor wont have time? i was also told they would email my breakdown later on that day, and they never did. i have whiplash. not to mention the price tag costs MORE than a mommy makeover from a WORLD RENOWNED plastic surgeon. and apparently that's the DISCOUNTED price due to "not having too much fat." i'm happy with my body. i didn't need to get this procedure at all. i could gladly wait until after i have kids and just get a mommy makeover if i wish. in this economy i cannot wrap my head around how a business can afford to be so disconcerting towards a cash paying patient. i actually wanted to get this done. and i mentioned multiple times i was motivated. they didn't really seem to care about me or what i wanted in anyway, which let's be honest, most people don't, but you can at least act like you do. especially with a price tag like that. also, i was finally offered water when i was leaving. airsculpt, if you need any marketing or managing assistance please feel free to reach out. you have my contact info. that was painful, and i didn't even get poked.

One small note from my experience with their Mission Valley location is that it can be a bit frustrating since the doors are locked, and even if you have a scheduled appointment, you cannot get in without a code. That detail is not always clearly communicated when booking, which can be confusing the first time. Overall, I love the experience at the Carmel Mountain location. I somehow survived that appointment, but when I called to schedule my second appointment, they told me they wouldn't accept my second Groupon -- even though they were the ones selling it! This is my honest review of my experience. I had made an…read moreappointment for cortisone injections on cystic acne I was having. When I got to the office, Dr. Park and another woman in a mask greeted me with "hi, who are you?" It was offputting because shouldn't they have at least an idea of who I might be since I had an appointment? I told them my name and what I was there for and they asked me to have a seat and wait. A third tall woman came out and said, "Hi, are you here for botox?" Again, a strange way of greeting me. I repeated that I was there for the cortisone injections. The tall woman leads me to a room and begins to touch my face to inspect my acne. She doesn't introduce herself, so I have no idea what her name is or what kind of provider she is. She tells me a little bit about the cortisone injections then says that Dr. Park will be in shortly. She leaves the hot ring light on, shining on my face. Dr. Park comes in with another Dr. shadowing her. She talks to me about the cortisone shots and gives me information about the possible risks associated. She asked me questions about what might be causing the acne flare and used a camera to show me what my skin is looking like. She went through my skincare routine with me and gave me recommendations about which products I should put a pause on using because my skin barrier is not good because I was using too many harsh actives. She gave me a lot of good information. She then recommended that I should get a Diamond Veil facial. Honestly it felt like such an upsell because she was using buzz words like "state of the art", "straight from Korea", "medical grade". I specifically chose this medspa because she is a medical doctor but it didn't feel like she was. As she prepares to do the injections she tells me that there are multiple sites that could benefit from the cortisone. I told her that I was really only there for one of the pimples but she could feel free to inject wherever she thinks it would help. At the time, the booking website stated that the cost was $100 per 10 ccs. She injected 6 sites then put pimple patches over them. When I went to pay, she told me that the cost was $100 per injection site, and that my total was $600. I was very surprised and showed her on their website that it says the cost was $100 per 10 ccs. There was a very awkward pause, and she said that was a mistake, that 10 ccs would not even be possible to inject because that amount is too much. She repeated that the cost is $100 per injection. She waited, expecting me to pay the $600. We went back and forth a couple times and finally she said, okay, it is a mistake on their part and I paid the $100. She made me feel awful. I get that she just lost $500 but that was not my fault. I understand that it was a misprint, but I had also said during the treatment that I was only there for one site and I allowed her to inject multiple sites because of what I believed the cost to be. I would have only done the one site if I knew what the actual cost was. If I had not stood up to her, I would've had to pay $600 due to their mistake. Afterwards I checked their website and the cost was immediately changed. Overall it was not a good experience. I hate to write a bad review but clients are given a discount for writing a Yelp review so I thought it was important to write an honest review that is not incentivized.
