They were inconsistent with their mask/social distancing rule even though the state is fully open? Allowing people 15-20 minutes to sit there without a mask and suddenly ask them to put it on. Then allowing people 15-20 to stand around the lobby, and then asking them to leave because they can't have anyone standing in the lobby. Make up your mind?! The check in process was irritating for a drug test patient. I got there and had to fill out a bunch of paperwork.. and then get checked in after I'm finished. Never had that happen before, usually at my doctor office I fill out the paperwork and am done by the time I'm called back. So I had to wait to be checked in even though they made me leave my ID with them prior to handing me the clipboard. So while I was making sure I was filling out my paperwork correctly (aka reading) , a bunch of other drug test people who just arrived and just haphazardly signed away, we're able to go ahead of me even though I was there ahead of them. Time is of the essence when you have to take a fucking piss something fierce.. and I would appreciate being checked in when you take my identification. I had to wait there almost 2 hours in between urgent care patients and drug test patients (No one was taking too long to pee in a cup and they were handling each group separately for faster service). I watched a few roaches walk by, an argument over a weird mask policy, and a whole movie. (I also watched long enough to see how filthy this place is..) I finally had to pee so bad it was painful to stand when an hour and a half in they ask for an additional signature to send the test off to the employer (I shit you not I read the paperwork, I already signed this). I asked if there was a way I could take my test now.. I've never had the issue of doing this before, as most drug test institutions absolutely do not want to waste a good sample. She said no, I have to use their current bathroom and drink water and hopefully I could provide a sample when they decide to call me back. HUH? Every drug test I've ever had.. hell.. even If you're on probation will let you pee so they don't waste a sample lmao. I'm so irritated that this place does drug testing. Why?! This is a doctors office.. to help people feel better...I'm also reminded how thankful I am that I can go to Presbyterian for all my medical services.. this place is disgusting. Can't recommend you can go somewhere else for a drug test (*cough* Quest *cough*), but I can definitely prepare you for what awaits you. A filthy environment, rude staff, and an insanely long wait. Drink water and get the fuck out of here.

Better than waiting weeks or months to get into a primary for something that's need to be dealt with now. But make sure you've cleared your schedule cause oh boy it's a task.

I strongly do not recommend taking your kids here for care. My son is 5 years old, and I have been…read morebringing him here since he was born. His primary care doctor is Laura Abeyta at the Golf Course location. We have never had complaints regarding Dr. Abeyta, but after what recently happened to my son, it is not hard not to question the whole practice. On July 10th I took my son to the Holly location around 8:45pm; as he was having symptoms of diarrhea and vomiting. The provider he saw at the time was Rebecca Webb. I had given my son pain medication prior to the appointment so he seemed okay so only a physical exam was given but no further testing was done nor medication prescribed or recommended. The provider stated it could just be a stomach bug as something is going around, so we then proceeded to go home. My son and I were going to be traveling the next day so I was very persistent with letting them know we would be traveling, and I was scared my son would get worse on the way. The following morning my son woke up with a fever and had exploding diarrhea, I then called After Hour Pediatrics back to let them know my son's symptoms had worsened and I asked if they recommend, I take him in to be seen again? They stated he would be okay to just "let him go through it". I listened to them. I trusted them. As my son and I are traveling he is not doing good. We were traveling to Juarez and as soon as we made it in, I took him to a doctor, and they stated he was not well and needed to be taken to the hospital asap... We immediately crossed over to El Paso and took my son to the El Paso Children's Hospital Emergency room where he was immediately checked in and properly checked, come to find out that he had appendicitis (inflammation of the appendix, if ruptured you can die or cause complications). Unfortunately, my son's appendix did rupture which caused him to have more complications during his recovery. During recovery he absorbed an ileus (where your small intestine becomes paralyzed causing bowel obstruction). My son had to have 2 back-to-back surgeries; he was in ICU for 3 days... He was hospitalized for 10 days. Thankfully to God, powerful prayers from family and friends, and the amazing El Paso Children's Hospital Pediatric team my son is healthy and alive. I just wanted to share my story because my son could have died... I do not want any other parent or kid to go through what we went through... Had I not taken the extra step he would not be here. I put trust in After Hour Pediatrics and they let my son and I down. I am very disappointed with the way my son was not properly attended here. We will not be returning to any After Hour Pediatrics, although it may not have been all the providers fault but my son has had complications of constipation since he was a newborn, I never thought anything of it but now with finding out what my son had, could this have been prevented had Dr. Abeyta done more throughout testing during the constipation visits and maybe would have had the surgery done sooner? and the provider he saw that night, seemed like she wanted to go home as she did no testing, no labs, no ultrasounds and no medications were given, nothing was done besides an annual physical exam, if that, then the following morning another provider basically was trying to get me off the phone and did not properly advise me. It seems like the whole practice could learn something from this. Regardless I feel like this could have been prevented by After Hour Pediatrics had they properly diagnosed my son. Please never stop trusting your own gut and always stay fighting for your kid, be their advocate.

I just said ok and left there. One week later I look for another doctor an found out my baby has pneumonia and could been cured from the beginning if these doctors would've done a chest x ray or just do their job, now my baby is at the hospital because she needs longterm treatmen.

You see, healthcare is such a stressful area to navigate in the US, so I did all I could until I had to make a chance to my new employers healthcare. One of the things that changed was..my oh-so- lovely Blue Cross Blue Shield forced me to find a cheaper place to get my routine medical procedures done..and that was when I randomly picked Coram out of all the 4 possible choices of places I could pick from. So, honestly, I was a little anxious about the quality of the care, procedure and ease of scheduling (since we all know how bad the state of healthcare sadly is in NM). Well, turned out...I loved having Coram as my new healthcare procedure provider. They were fast, clear and super communicative with me on the processes. I was slightly worried about the delay in getting things scheduled..but Coram pulled everything through from getting all the paperwork and insurance authorization done..to actually scheduling and performing the procedure for me all within just 2 weeks timeframe! So amazing! All the staff I interacted with from my case officer to my pharmacist and a nurse..they were all so kind, friendly and wonderful. I was actually amazed this good quality of care was actually still out there available in ABQ. The place is small but very caring and has all the things one needs. My actual procedures were actually completed quicker than the usual time that it would take at a major hospital because there were less hoops to jump through...and it was pretty much a 1:1 procedures/lovely chats with such a caring nurse Deloris throughout my appointment time there! I definitely would choose to continue getting specialized procedures and care done at Coram again. P.S. they are a CVS subsidiary company, so another bonus is potentially their reach and network of care to potentially continue your care if you ever move out of state.

Most importantly, Brian and Brenda made me feel as if my care and treatment was as important to them as it is to me and my family! Brian even gave me his cell number and told me to text day or night if I needed help. He's probably already regretting that but we have made an efficient team! For once, I feel like I'm in good hands. And for someone who is extremely medically fragile in the middle of a pandemic, that means everything!
