She used to be so shy and timid, since she attended her first one on one class with one of the senseis she has been more sociable with other kids. The staff is great, always welcome you with a smile. Their junior instructors also do a marvelous job teaching the younger kids how to properly to the techniques. If you are in the area and are wanting to put your child or yourself to attend an academy with great instructors willing and able to teach the beautiful art of karate, I definitely recommend this place. I worked for them awhile back. Loved my job and loved the kids. But when the office chews you out…read morein front of people, that's not very professional at all. I worked for them for bout a month and was still learning the kids names. I think they need to come up with a much better system when going to the school to pickup the kids. If the teachers say that they won't be riding the bus home then I don't think that needs to be confirmed. The teachers/school office are the ones who released them. And I'm sure got a signature. The drivers main concern should be getting them back to YA instead of sitting there with the kids on the bus waiting for YA to confirm the child was picked up from school after the school told you they were. I think they should have an aide on the bus as well. Cause most of the kiddos don't want to stay in their seats and bouncing around and throwing things. This is a distraction to the driver and the driver needs to be concentrating on their driving and the safety of the children, not having to constantly look in the mirror at the kids. This is just my opinion as a past employee.

We love that he notices when the kids are lost and will go out of his way to make sure that they are understanding what is happening. I checked out my first Jiu Jitsu class in 2001 at that same academy where I saw Rorion and Helio Gracie instructing the class. I ended up starting Jiu Jitsu with the Gracie's cousins, the Machado Brothers. I received my Blue Belt from Rigan and my Purple Belt from Roger Machado. As I have gotten older my goals in Jiu Jitsu are Healthy Lifestyle and Self Defense. My last 5 years training were at Gracie University with Ryron and Rener Gracie, the grandkids of Helio Gracie, so I was really worried about where I could train once I moved to Clarksville. I was watched Professor James Hoskins teach a class of white belts and was so impressed that I told my wife that we should sign up here. In less than a month, I have already learned a lot even though I have been training Jiu Jitsu for over 20 years. What I always enjoy the most about learning Jiu Jitsu is the friendships I make. She was always saying how mean the teachers were and how a boy there was inappropriate with the girls. I went in and talked to the owner and a "teacher" who told me the boy in question was caught before he touched and there was no proof of him doing it again.(besides the multiple girls saying something but that obviously doesnt matter)The next week my daughter came home and had a breakdown. I set her up for counseling that Friday. The counselor told me after the session he recommended I remove her immediately and she was having thoughts of self harm because of the stress and fear she felt there. Of course she never went back but they kept the 2 weeks I paid in advance. My bank auto drafted another 80 before I could stop it. The owner said she would return the 80 and instead applied it to another week owed. whatever keep it. Please don't take your children here

Lily has developed tremendously at daycare including now enjoying tummy time and sleeping in a crib. Highly recommend- they are experts in child care! I do not understand the bad review here as several co-workers have/had kids here and enjoyed this daycare as much as we do. I have never walked in and not received a smile / hello.
