When I found out I was pregnant my son insisted his sister go to Kay's as well. Of course it was a no-brainer for us. My daughter smiles every time she sees Kay and her teacher, I am always well informed of her day and she always gives a loving wave when we leave . We love it here! I highly recommend.

Lakeena Creary (owner) is very unprofessional, harsh and rude as ever…read more Her staff was the best Part about my son attending the Daycare which is the only reason why he continued his enrollment. When he was a newborn his pacifiers were lost his pacifiers were switched they sent him home with the wrong pacifier almost at least twice a week. The bottles were switched everything was just a mess. The owner even came to me and asked me to give her time to fix her mistakes in which we did however we were not giving the same courtesy as we gave her. During the Covid shut down I had paid her in advance for the following week and was told that if the kids were not coming then we didn't have to pay so I asked her if the money that I had previously paid would be credited to my account and she advised me that she couldn't credit me being that I already had paid even though my child wasn't going. Since then I started paying weekly again and sometimes I would forget to pay on time hence why I usually paid two weeks in advance. I stopped paying in advance because I felt that it was unfair that she kept my money but didn't make any of the other kids parents pay. Today she called in disenrolled my son due to me being late on a $35 payment she was very rude and unprofessional she didn't even ask if/why I was having a hard time during this world wide pandemic. She she sent out newsletters telling parents that they would have to pay regardless of the COVID-19. Whether they brought their children or not so many people lost their jobs if she was so uncaring and inconsiderate. I wouldn't recommend her business to anyone. Being a first time mom I let a lot of stuff slide because I was in dire need of childcare at the time but going forward I would never enrolled him in a daycare like such. All you have to do is look at the DHS violations website and you will be able to review any daycare violations for ANY DAYCARE you choose. She called us almost everyday for the first 4 days and on that Friday (one school week in) she asked us to come and pick him up and that was to be his last day. I spoke with her and explained that was not what she said to me and that I would have never brought him there if that were the case. I lost the registration fee-nonrefundable. My child had to go to ANOTHER place to adjust again. It takes a child at least 2 weeks to adjust and she kicked him out after one week. We have had a horrible experience here and would never take another child here, nor will we recommend this establishment. Our son is currently thriving in his new school after a minor adjustment period to new students and teachers. He has been there over a month and a half.

Consider another place. This is not the place to leave your child if you want them to stay safe…read more The do not communicate any issues with the parents, they leave children in dirty and wet clothes. If your child gets hurt you will have to bring it to their attention as they will not report it themselves. The staff is not childcare certified or trained in anyway. They are ALWAYS talking to each other or on their phones. Kids are allowed to run free, rough and wild. Teachers are more concerned with their gossip.

0 stars was an option that would have been my choice. Where should I start. Our tour day to the…read moredaycare we as parents were not in informed by one of their staff, that the facility had an epidemic of "hand, foot and mouth" the month prior that resulted in alot of children being out. So four days in our son was sent home with a temperature, after going to the Dr's, he was diagnosed with hand, mouth and foot. When we returned after it ran its course, our son teachers said, " yes it was really bad last month and that they were informing the parents but the director had not. Another incident, supposedly a diffuser was on a shelf above where my son was napping at got knocked down by a teacher and fell next to him wasting water, and I'm assuming the oil, all over his clothes. There was an incident report made, my husband signed it but didn't receive a copy. Then the director opened up our son classroom door and smashed his finger, she called me stating there was a small mark on his finger but it went away. The mark did not go away and weeks later it's still visible. A report was made Oct 6 but me or my husband was not presented with it to sign nor did we get a copy until Oct 24, only because I asked. Another incident I experienced was walking in our son classroom and it was him and one other child and a teacher on the floor, I believe she was reading a book but both of the babies had runny noses down to their mouths. I immediately picked my son up and cleaned his face. For her to be right there in their face and look over that was strange. On top of all those things this was my final straw. I received a call stating my son had threw up and I knew he had 2 changes of clothes so I assumed he was okay. The director stated he didn't have a fever and that they would keep an eye on him. Well when I went to pick him up he was on the floor with the other children in a pamper, onesie that was partially snapped and one sock. I asked them," why is my baby on the floor with no clothes on" the teacher stated, " he threw up twice" I went to his bag to find a pair of pants, a shirt and a pair of socks. I was livid. She didn't take the time to even look. Our son's legs were ice cold as well as his arms. Also I also believe that the reason why our son threw up was because he was able to get a hold to another's child food/ milk or was given something that I did not send. The teachers were not consistent and our son is plant based and I provided all his food, drinks and snacks so if it's not clearly communicated to a new teacher a mistake can happen but noone ever admitted it but they were acting really out of character and weird about the situation. I have picked my son up one day and his diaper was soiled as if he had it on for hours and when I looked at the app he hadn't been changed since around 11am and it was 5pm when I picked him up. When I asked his teacher she said it probably was not noted correctly on the app, but the proof was in the diaper. Overall this daycare has been a nightmare. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. It sad when you leave your baby with supposedly trained people to care for them and they drop the ball not once, not twice but several times. The state really need to reevaluate this facility.
