I have to admit I was a little discouraged by the reviews but after a sole tour & a conversation with the super helpful & friendly staff...We decided to do a couple Spring Break camp days & a Gymnastics trial. All 3 of my kids absolutely love Mpacts sports!! I am truly grateful for a safe, friendly, and the smiles on my kiddos faces every time we go there. I am writing this to warn other parents about this facility and the staff. In short, DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD TO MPACT SPORTS. The biggest issue with this place is the person in charge. I have NEVER experienced or witnessed a situation like my son had at this place. The man in charge of this event began the party by yelling at the children in a very loud and intimidating, "military" voice (keep in mind these children were 2nd graders). My son felt scared and refused to say "yes, sir" when commanded to do so (he was focused on holding back his tears and I was too stunned to react). He continued to yell at my 2nd grader in front of this group of children, ultimately telling him that he could leave because he would not let him play. At that point, my son could not hold back his tears, so I took him aside to attempt to calm him down. At this point I want to stress that I was not sure if this was an act or not, but I tried to convince my child that the scary man was just "acting" and didn't intend to be so mean. We sat alone in the dirty hallway, trying to decide what to do. None of the staff acknowledged us at all or attempted to see if my son was okay (despite seeing me carry him off in tears). My son was adamant that he was really scared of this angry stranger. Hoping this had all been a big misunderstanding (and after about 20 minutes of sobbing), I got my son to agree to join the others kids. Again, the party was shockingly disorganized and there were just kids running everywhere with minimal supervision from anyone on the staff. I walked my son to the edge of the room to the beat-up nerf guns and cheap plastic glasses and handed him one of each. Before my son could even take a step forward, the same 60 year old bully came running over yelling that the space was off limits and my son was not allowed on "his floor". In a surprisingly calm voice, I asked this person to calm down as he was scaring my son. He replied, "I don't care, it's MY floor and he's not coming on it!" . I turned to my son (who now had tears streaming down his face again) and told him we were leaving. As we exited the building, I told the lady at the front desk (who was silently witnessed all of this) that we tried to join the party but the angry/aggressive man had yet again verbally berated and attempted to humiliate my son. She looked surprised and said "I'm sure he was kidding". We walked out and will NEVER EVER return for any reason. On our car ride home, my son was still trying to process why this man had been so mean to him. I explained that some people are just BULLIES, and sometimes it is best to just walk away. In my opinion, this man should not be allowed around children of any age. This was a truly terrible experience and I am documenting this in the hopes of sparing even one child from an experience like this. AVOID THIS PLACE. read more

My nephew has his birthday party here a few weeks ago. The group of 2nd grade boys had a blast and it was a great places to burn off some energy. The nerf gun party was a hit. They loved the owner who lead the party in his military gear and made it so much fun. They have a great party room and all the staff were so nice to our family while we were there. Definitely would recommend for a birthday party. read more

Mpact sports is simply THE BEST NERF WAR in town!!!! Eric (former kickboxing world champion) and his wife DeeAnn are truly amazing hosts. They are two of the most kind and welcoming people you will ever meet. Eric and DeeAnn go out of their way to create an environment that makes you feel like you're truly on the battlefield. Eric dresses up like a drill sergeant for every event and really keeps the kids safe and in-line; no one gets hurt on his watch! Adults and kids are both welcome to play and they provide unlimited nerf darts so all you need to do is bring your own nerf gun and a child-like attitude to have fun! We have attended many of their Nerf Wars and also had them host a birthday party Nerf War and I can't say enough about how gracious Eric and DeeAnn are as proprietors! We celebrated my sons 5th Birthday at MPact Sports and he had an absolute blast!! We booked a martial arts party which included 1 hr of instruction for up to 15 kids and 1/2 hr in the party room. We were allowed to arrive 1/2 hr before the party time to set up the room and then the adults enjoyed the party room with direct viewing of the kids enjoying the activities!! I was completely shocked to have witness this and I never write bad reviews. This came at such a shock that I had to find time to write about it. My son decided to try a free class at MPACT for gymnastics. The class was fine but when I needed to use the restroom was when I encountered the most disgusting experience. The bathroom smelled really awful. I decided to chance it and when I walked in one toilet was overflowing with feces! I gagged and was about to tell the owner, DeeAnn, but a ballet dancer beat me to it, holding up her point shoes that was covered in feces and said look at what toilet did to my shoes. DeeAnn's response was "I've already spent too much money on the plumbing so its not my problem to pay anymore, so tell your dance owner that they can pay to have it fixed". All this talking while feces is now overflowing into the facility! I stood in shock, while not getting into the feces. I have no words at this point so I pulled my son from class and we left. I thought as an owner it was "your" responsibility to repair all things and to keep your customers healthy and safe. She in my opinion, does not have a love or heart for others only herself. read more

Our kids love Mpact. I can only speak for the recreational and competitive gymnastics though. They also offer cheer and martial arts. Instructors care about the kids. read more

I would not advise attending this camp. It is poorly managed, to say the least. Camp counselors were irresponsible and lacked any skills regarding child care. My children had snack money, personal items and lunches stolen. My youngest was physically assaulted by another child much larger/older than him. There was no supervision provided. My older child and friend had to pull the larger child, who was sitting on top of my younger child choking my child with his hands, off of him. There was NO counselor in sight. I did not receive a call or incident report and it was not acknowledge until I addressed it directly with the onsite counselor, who appeared to be 17, at best. It took 2 days to be contacted by the owner and while she apologized there was no real action taken by her. This camp is terrible and I would not recommend it all. read more

I absolutely love the toddler mornings for $5 that we've been attending the past couple of weeks! What a wonderful way to get kids moving, and help Moms do something fun with their littles out of the heat. Thank you so much for doing this! I drive all the way from Murfreesboro. :) read more
