Stopped in for a "sample" .... ha we ordered a two meat plate of pork ribs and brisket. Nothing be prepared us for the experience!! We ended up enjoying every bite of this plate we ordered! I don't know why it took this long to stop in. Now we know the hours, specialties and picked a menu to order ahead. We will definitely be back. Now to give some details... pork rib was a dry rub that was juicy and spicy. The brisket was done just right. I definitely enjoyed the fatty brisket and the lean brisket. The burnt ends were so good! I've heard great things about this food truck and finally made the trek to check them out. I was in Farmington for the weekend and went on a Saturday before the lunch rush. We were greeted by a sweet and kind young lady who explained their menu and all of the options. The grill master was also helpful in explaining their cooking process. I ordered the brisket sandwich but swapped the bun for flour tortillas. We also ordered a kids meal with brisket and added pulled pork. Potato salad was on the side. And to top our order, we had a dino bite aka large piece of meat on bone. The seating area is so cute. We waited about 10 minutes and our food was ready. It smelled soooo good! This place is delicious! We got brisket - chopped and also sliced. It was a great combo of lean and fatty. The potato salad had great flavor and you could tell it was really fresh. The sauce was thick and tangy. The beans were really tasty. And to top it off, the service was so friendly (and fast). They came to check on us a couple of times. Wow. Super good. I would come back here anytime. I would give them 4 1/2 stars but Yelp is still lame and doesn't allow half stars so I rounded up. Why 4 1/2 and not 5? Two reasons (one of which is no fault of their own): 1.) I live in Austin, TX and have had Franklin BBQ several times and I'm convinced Aaron Franklin is a witch doctor when it comes to smoked meat. Consistent and otherworldly. 2.) The BBQ beans need some work. Fairly meh in terms of flavor. Mix some of the BBQ sauce in and it helps a lot. Otherwise...DAMN. Very good. Brisket burnt ends - HUGE points for even having these on the menu. And they were delicious. Nice crust and not dry. Tommy likey. Pulled pork - Very good. They put something in there that makes it look/taste a little different (it's a little orange in color). At the end of the day...don't care. It's good, get in mah belly. Put the pulled pork on a King's Hawaiian roll (they give you the choice of Texas toast or King's) with some of the cole slaw...nom. Spareribs - Very nice crust and very good flavor. A little tough for me but my buddy preferred them this way. Sausage - Usually I avoid smoked sausage at a BBQ joint because it is consistently lame and just tastes like Hillshire Farms. Even the smoked sausage at Franklin in Austin is a miss. At Infinite however...very good. Super tender and very good smoke flavor. Well done. Cole Slaw - I think it's more of a mayo base slaw, but again it's very good so don't care. Get in mah belly. BBQ Beans - Already covered these above. Lastly, the people...fabulous. This was some bomb bbq! Way exceeded my expectations! And the portions were so large, both my boyfriend and I were stuffed!! And he can eat let me tell you! I had the 1 meat (ribs, 4) with 2 sides (potato salad, bbq beans) and it was delicious! The ribs were so good I didnt even need sauce! Which was a good thing cause I wasnt crazy about the sauce, I prefer a sweeter sauce and this was more spicy and not very sweet. Aside from that everything was fantastic! Arrived in Farmington early this evening after a day at Mesa Verde NP. Had Infinite in my crosshairs after searching for great food in the area. BINGO!!! Previous reviews were spot-on. The owners have poured their heart into their business. Customer service is great. But let's talk about the food. Smell of mesquite hits as soon as you step out of the car. Owner confirmed mesquite is used for the brisket and ribs, which I had. Apple and pecan for some of the other meats. Originally from Kansas City--- so BBQ is taken seriously. Every item we tried was 6 stars out of 5. Nothing missed the mark: ribs were competition caliber (not overcooked falling off the bone- only requiring a slight nibble to remove the meat), beautiful smoke ring on the brisket, amazing potato salad, and beans with a very nice slight smoky taste. Sauce is perfect viscosity with a nice balance of sweet, smoke, and heat. Oh. And if you still have room after delicious dinner- her sweet potato cheesecake is to die for! The location and setting is perfect also- a mobile truck equipped with smoker- able to quickly accommodate a number of walk up patrons. Ample seating- tables kept clean. Nonpretentious BBQ stand with friendly staff. The pork was moist and tasty, but pork ribs were not very tender and IMHO could have used some more time in the smoker. My experience was with the location at Lowe's, and it was my first chance to see what my co-workers were talking about when I asked for recommendations. They didn't even exaggerate. There are enough choices on the menu that it's like being in a restaurant. My food was excellent and it was packaged well enough that it was still hot by the time I got to the motel, checked in, and unpacked the car. I got advice about some menu items and an explanation of the Christmas packages the Infinite people are making. I believe they'll make great gifts and plan to get a few. Heard about this place through the BBQ sauce but never have been. The BBQ here is incredible. The portions are hefty and the prices are reasonable. I am a chubby boy and I wasn't able to make it through the two meat meal. The meat isn't dry like Serious Texas. The sauce wasn't as generic tasting as Dickies. I will go out on a limb and say this place is better than Spare Rib. The onion isn't over powering in their tater salad. The beans don't taste like it came from a can.
