Infinite Ink is one of the long line of tattooists and piercers that line Low Waters Road in Hamilton. It has some pretty stiff competition from long established Lorraine's Tattoos and Kenny's House Of Pain, but this studio seems to have the best reputation amongst them.
It's spacious and airy looking with the front of the shop completely glass with the shops logo across it. The waiting area is comfortable with couches and magazines and the staff are really friendly. I went here for a piercing and can tell you that in my professional opinion that she was really good at what she did. I was fully briefed and given an aftercare sheet which is always a sign of a good piercer.
I booked in for a tattoo as well, and went for my consultation which i had to wait a couple of months to get, and the artist drew it up for me and i was really happy with it. I had paid my 20.00 consultation fee which i have never heard of elsewhere, and was told to wait a couple of weeks till an appointment came up and they would contact me. Weeks passed, i rang them and was told i would get a ring back but i never, ever did. I decided to take my business elsewhere.
I was really disappointed with this service and it totally put me off going there for a tattoo, or even another piercing. The 20 quid 'consultation fee' was also a complete con, because in the end i paid it for nothing. Good experience with the piercer, bad with the tattooist. read more
