I always have trouble scheduling appointments and today, when I called several times to make an appointment for my retainers, I got sent to voicemail 10 times. It's not the first time they don't answer my calls, and even when I leave voicemails, they never return the calls. What I don't understand is when I'm there, the receptionists take the calls so I don't understand why they don't take mine, and I call during business hours or leave a voicemail if I know they're out of office. I'm only finishing my regiment and then I'm not coming back. I'd rather not struggle so much when trying to make an appointment, especially since the drive is so far from where I live. I do have some complaints regarding my experience with braces and stuff but that isn't my main issue. It the lack of customer service that is the issue.

Her reasoning was that "they under quote in the beginning, and then see what insurance says". Right. Got it. THEN They refused to give me a basic standard insurance covered cleaning, because the dentist recommended a deep pocket cleaning and a laser treatment( not covered by insurance..) It was going to be $497 for a cleaning and a filling. Nope. Don't go here. Beware of shady practices.

She said I need an extensive cleaning and do not qualify for the basic cleaning my insurance covers. Finance lady came in asking for a large amount of money in order to move forward. I got up and left without services. The following day I paid out of pocket for my previous dentist who no longer took my insurance, and he confirmed I do not have gum disease or 2 cavities. This placed straight up scammed me. Shortly after this happened I was in contact with my insurance stating Carol Cabanas submitted thousands of dollars of claims. Insurance was notified of their discrepancies. I do NOT recommend this facility. This is one of the reasons why people avoid going to medical/dental appointments. Scams everywhere guys watch out.

I feel very fortunate that my friend recommended him several years ago. My 90 year old mom will be moving here from the midwest and so Dr Rojas will be her new dentist. She has seen him a couple of times when she had an emergency. Again, he is gentle and thorough. I find his fees reasonable as well. They are very nice. I was disappointed in their insistence…read moreon ex-rays. When I first arrived, they wanted to take ex-rays. I told them I was there last month and I did not want ex-rays. They said okay, and the Hygienist used a camera to view the problem area ( which was the same area that I went in for previously). I got a crown. When the treatment was over, they gave me no time to resist and threw the "protective vest" on me - I said, Hey, what is this for? The Dentist said that they needed to make sure that they didn't leave any cement in there. I said, "what about the camera?" Before I could say anything, the hygienist was using a tool that looked like a round mirror and took ex-rays.I don't have dental insurance and the unexpected bill of $1,395.00 hit me hard. ( a friend told me that amount sounded right)
