She comes up with thoughtful ways to achieve beautiful results while protecting the health of my hair and scalp. She really understands the science behind hair treatments and is always up to date the latest technology. I always get the best advice on how to maintain health and color longevity after my sessions with her. She is detail oriented and super meticulous. Hair sessions can be long, but I've learned over the years that in order to achieve the best results, it can't be rushed. And while my hair looks amazing right after my sessions with her, the true test of time shows the quality of work she puts in. The color grows out beautifully and I get compliments months to even more than a year between sessions. One of the things I Iove most about Ly the most is just how friendly and warm and genuine she is. I always look forward to catching up with her in the seat. When I first came to Ly, I was dating my now husband and I've gone through all my life events with her. She cut and colored my hair for my engagement session, wedding, babymoon, sister's wedding, during my pregnancy and even my first session after baby was born...and many sessions in between! It was their first haircut and I could not have asked for a better experience! My girls were nervous at first but Loretta made them feel comfortable and they had extra pep in their step when they saw the finished look. And the owner is seriously so amazing she went above and beyond and printed my girls a first hair cut certificate and also I forgot to ask to tie my first daughters hair in a hair tie to keep it. It was finally time to chop it all off. I knew what I wanted, so we quickly spoke about what I was looking for, I showed her references and we got started! As we went through cutting my hair she checked in about the length I wanted and made suggestions on what she'll do and if I wanted it shorter then we can go shorter. I fully agreed! Hair can always be cut shorter, but we can't put it back on once it's cut! In and out within an hour. Chef's kiss. Salon was modern, minimal, and cute. They had soft playing pop music in the background. Something I'm a little sad about is that I did forget my favorite hair clip on her counter, but that's on me.
