Georgetown has become a strategic stop for our family as we negotiate living in Charleston and having family in Wilmington. With a toddler it is important to have good spots to visit to break up the drive. This past weekend I discovered Indigo Bakery and had a wonderful visit. The service was quick and friendly. I loved the small cookie plates and the overall aesthetic. I had a coconut creme cheese cookie and my daughter had a sprinkles cookie. Both were tasty and well priced. It's lovely to go get a treat and not feel price gouged. I also ordered an iced tea that was good. You could tell that it was brewed fresh. The other treats looked tasty and I am certain we will return to Indigo again. Additionally, parking is pretty easy out front and the bathroom was clean and well stocked. My Husband and I were visiting for the weekend and thought Georgetown sounded like fun. We decided to try Indigo Bakery and I'm so glad we did. I didn't get her name but the sweet lady working was one of the nicest people we met while in the area. She told us about everything they were offering, gave recommendations and talked to us while we waited. My Husband ordered the Chocolate Chip brownie cheesecake and although I didn't get a picture, he said it was delicious! I ordered the Apple spiced croissant (Pictured) and it was amazing. You can taste the layers of butter in every bite and I could've eaten more! The store is so cute on the inside also. I would definitely recommend this little bakery to anyone in the area, visiting or living! It is 10/10!!! read more

I can't sing the their praises high enough. First of all, it was so good that I came back twice in one day. I tried the spinach and feta, ham and cheese, and Parmesan chive pastries. All. We're. Delicious. Not to mention how wonderful the owners are. They are just genuinely nice people. When they found out we were trying to wait on the Indigo Merchantile(turns out they own that too) they offered to open it for us to go in early. They're just thoughtful and they clearly put that thoughtfulness in their food and bakery too! read more

A cute little bakery right beside the clock tower in Georgetown. We stopped in and purchased a selection of cookies and some brownies. The brownie was really good... a good mix of cakey and a just a touch fudgy (just the way I like it). Extremely chocolatey too - every once in a while you'll hit a chocolate chip. Mmmm! Husby purchased a selection of cookies, but thought they were a bit bland for his taste. The best of the cookie lot were the chocolate chip cookies. The other kinds were kinda meh. read more

I was so excited to see that a bakery had opened up in Georgetown but kept coming by when they were closed (hours are a bit sporadic thanks to Covid, this is why I deducted one star). When I finally was able to stop in I was not disappointed in the slightest- the family that runs it was courteous and friendly, plus they also were all properly wearing masks (sadly I've been to some spots in the area where masks seem to be optional, even if food is being served). I loved the vanilla cake and the cheese cake and will definitely be back again (assuming I'm in town while they're open!)! read more

We ordered brownies, a cappuccino, and a slice of cake. Everything was DELICIOUS!! My coworkers made a disappearing act out of the brownies. Such kind people at this establishment, but, they need to reduce their prices and increase their selections. We had blueberry muffins that were nice, not great, but tasty. We also had some overpriced and a bit stale cookies which we would not buy again. I hope they get additional bakers and have the variety and pricing that draws the public in to help them succeed.
