We stopped at all of the hot spots, it almost made me want to enroll in college again. We stopped near the Venus fountain, several of the great academic buildings, saw the library, a massive study area, and the sample gates. I'm excited for some of our students to get started on their next chapter of life at IU

My daughter previously went to one of the "best" daycares in Bloomington (and most expensive!!). But, only the best for her, as they say. Anyway, at the end of the day she seemed ready to go. Like she'd had a nice, full day but that was that... Here I have to practically drag her away kicking and screaming! She just can't get enough. I really love that Mandy and Jess are completely child led. The day's activities are based on what the kids feel like doing, and everyday is an adventure. Lots of times the babies will mingle with the ECP classroom, or even bigger kids than that on the playground. Ani LOVES school. I will say that it is still fairly expensive (and in fact if she were to go for the same number of hours that she went to her previous school, it would actually be more expensive). However, we live in the US and that's the current state of affairs. I do really appreciate that they charge by the hour, so you can monitor what you'll end up paying each month and make it fit what you need. Mandy and Jess really do adore the kids and I am so happy to be able to send my girl there!

Some of the smartest and nicest people I know go here. Harmony is truly a community, and I know almost everyone here. Everyone here is welcoming and thoughtful. Unfortunately not everyone who applies can get in to this wonderful place, because it's such a small school. However the community is large, and welcomes any one who joins. I can't tell you how many stars I would this place, but since 5 is the most, I'll give it that.

Computer labs, several break rooms, lobbies, the best undergraduate career services office, printers, new construction classrooms, and more! I could go on for a long time. The building itself is beautiful and new. The only suggestion I have would be to improve parking, particularly for students. It's fairly inaccessible during the day unless you plan to walk- which isn't too bad. Beautiful campus! A tip I have is to try the Kelley Cafe! It's surprisingly great! I don't use that lightly either. The sand which options are some of my favorite in Bloomington!

The theatre itself is very small, holding about 75 people. The stage is rounded and exposed, which is perfect for intimate shows where you want to see everything that's going on and not miss a thing. There is plenty of local art hanging on the walls of the lobby, along with tons of comfy chairs and sofas for lounging before or after shows. Additionally, there's quite a bit of parking around this area of town, from street parking or garages. Check out BPP next time you're in Bloomington and want to see a unique show!

The Bloomington Playwrights Project is a Bloomington treasure. So many theaters in Indiana have…read morethe same old tired plays from years past or plays of popular books or movies. I love that they take a risk and stage completely new plays. I've seen about 4 different productions here, and I thought 3 of the 4 were excellent. As Adam N, mentioned, it's not uncommon for shows to be sold out. The theater is pretty small and some of the seats aren't ideal if you have long legs so grab a seat early. The theater often partners with local businesses to offer free food or drinks in the lobby before the show. Or there may be IU students doing improv in the lobby, depends on the day. The BPP is one of my favorite things about Bloomington.

The name of this art gallery is right on the nose. It's named Second Story Studio because ... well,…read moreit's located on the second story of a building. More specifically, the second story of the historic Village Green Building, which happens to be painted green. This is the kind of space where you'll want to spend some time just walking around and absorbing the art. It's an art gallery, but it feels like a home. There are a couple different rooms, with art hung on the walls and placed on vintage tables and furniture. The hardwood floors creak satisfactorily when you step on them. There's a room with couches. It's a cozy space with lots of art everywhere. The art on display is from artists both local to Nashville and from elsewhere. Pretty much all of the art that I saw was for sale. Some of it was too rich for my blood, but there were prints and postcards and other things that were much more affordable for a broke philistine like myself. Second Story Studio also offers art classes and workshops, as well as a shared studio space for artists. This is a cool little place in downtown Nashville, a city that's a hub for the arts in Indiana.
