Emergency Car Repair While Traveling -- Huge Thanks to Jairo!…read more While visiting Lake of the Woods in Bremen, IN from Chicago, my check engine light came on late Saturday afternoon. Most shops were closed, but I called Jairo's shop around 7:30 PM -- and he answered! He told me to bring the car in on Monday. He diagnosed the problem quickly, and I ended up needing parts from the Mercedes dealer in Ft. Wayne. After I picked them up, Jairo stayed late (7:00-9:30 PM!) to do the repairs and get me back on the road safely. He knows his imports, charged a fair price, and didn't take advantage of the situation. Just an honest, kind, skilled mechanic doing great work. If I lived closer, I'd absolutely trust him with all my car needs. Highly recommend his shop -- thank you, Jairo!

My health is waning so i avoid doing major maintenance on our vehicles, and took my wife's diesel golf to gurley leep (dealer) who seriously messed up repairs on 2 separate occasions, causing me to repair gurley leep's "repairs", a bit pointless. We tried a few shops around town and i checked their work to my dismay. We tried Wise and i cannot complain. i haven't given them enough work to comfortably rate 5 stars but i can say I trust their work more than the dealer from which we bought the car when brand new.

While traveling around the country in our 45 foot Newmar motorhome, we discovered that our front…read moreend had been hammered out of alignment by all of the potholes along the northern state highways. While visiting the Newmar factory, we explained our dilemma to the staff and they recommended Mast Service Center. We called them and explained that we were on the road and needed a front end alignment and or repairs and they made arrangements to get us in immediately. They did a thorough inspection of the motorhome, found numerous damaged parts, emailed us a detailed inspection report which included photographs as well as descriptions and estimates for the cost of each item that they found needing attention. Because we live full-time in our motorhome, they worked with us doing work on the coach all day long and releasing the coach to drive back to the Hoffman Lakes RV park each evening. We did this for several days as they completed repairs, and obtained the parts necessary for the repairs. We spoke with our service rep, Jalynn, several times a day as he called us to keep us posted on progress. At the end of the repair, when it was time to pay the bill, we found that the final bill was very close to the estimate that we had approved prior to any work being done. Now, having driven the motorhome for two full driving days, I can see that there is a huge improvement in the handling of the motorhome, and we are very happy with the work that we had done at Mast Service Center. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone operating a heavy vehicle that needs any kind of service.

After 2 months I gave them an out and i said should i take it to the dealer...............QAS no we got it. after 3 months no worky so i had it towed to the dealer and it was fixed in 2 days. QAS still charged me $700+ and actually erased one of the computers programing yet still only cost $400 at the dealer to fix the whole deal. I will always choose an independent shop on older cars as the dealers are not my cup of tea, but I also expect them to know when they are just wasting time and money and that's exactly what QAS did. to be good you have to know when you are out of your ability and they were way out of their ability on this one.

Dave's auto repair is the best auto mechanic I have been to. The prices is more than fair, the…read morecustomer service is great and their quick turn around time is amazing. I drive a Toyota RAV4 2014. It needed an oil change and I wanted to do it myself to save some money. This rav4 ( most Toyota ) has a oil filter casing where the filter seats in The previous people that did the oil change torqued the Casing On there so tight that I had to purchase several tools to try and get the casing off. One of those tools I bought was a 500lb torque impact($130) wrench. That impact wrench could not get the casing off. It actually crack the casing. At that I gave up and sealed the crack with jb welds epoxy. The next day I heard About Dave's auto repair and heard great things. So I called and spoke to Griffin. At first he wanted set it up by appointment because How i explained my issues sounded more complex. But He called me back in 10 minutes and said he now understood what I meant. He then told me to bring it in and he can work on removing the casing and putting a new casing on right there on the spot. Next day I brought my rav4 in and It took about l one hour for the entire repair including extras that was needed. I was very surprised on how quick they turned my car around. the cost was more than fair. I thought it should have been more. I could not thank Dave's auto repair and his enough in how they took care of me in the short amount of time. Most places I been too would have told me to just drop the car off. Dave's Auto Repair just bought my service needs and I will keep coming back for any repairs on my vehicles. I will also spread the word just like my friends told me. Thank you Dave's auto repair and continue with your mission statement.

We took our vehicle to their Goshen south location two months ago. At that time, our vehicle had a…read morewarranty that we purchased when we bought the vehicle. It was having some AC issues and they worked with the warranty company. Due to the warranty soon expiring, asked them to go through the entire vehicle and inspect for anything else that could need repair/replacement and get it done while we still have warranty left. Nothing was found and got checked out "all good" according to them. Here we are 2-3 months later, took it back in(warranty now expired) because both rear tires were wearing unevenly and we needed two new tires and an alignment. They get the car in, and now say we have bad lateral links(bushings worn out) and they also find shocks that need to be replaced(they were replaced a year ago and are fine) and a timing cover leak(major repair). There is NO WAY these issues spring up over the course of a 2-3 month period. Either they never looked the car over, or, they knew our warranty was expiring and they saw an opportunity to make more money(labor rate is higher on non warranty jobs) after our warranty expired. Extremely dissatisfied. The only reason we used them instead of our normal independent mechanic initially was the need to get a repair done as fast as possible. As a hobbiest mechanic, ex service advisor, and someone who understands cars more than the average person, the way they conduct themselves is extremely unprofessional and shady. After speaking with the service manager about these concerns, no offer was made to make anything right. I informed him that I already have the parts on order and will do the repair myself, and any further repairs will be conducted elsewhere, no offer to make the situation better was made other than "give us a second chance" now that management has changed. The main issue of concern is the fact that the car cannot be aligned without parts replacement(which should have been caught months ago by them) and after informing them that I will do the repair myself, the least they could have done was comp the alignment to possibly save someone's business, but that offer was not made. The other repairs that they recommended, while not immediately necessary(oil "leaks" are a weep with little to no oil loss between oil changes every 5k miles) were made to sound like critical repairs that need to be done now, which is not the case at all. The rear shocks that were replaced a year ago and have less than 10k miles are no way leaking, however it seems like they are grabbing at straws to do repairs that aren't necessary, or are necessary in the distant future and are attempting to create a sense of urgency to do repairs when they aren't really critical. I would recommend finding another place to handle your car repairs, especially if you are a female. This appointment was scheduled for my wife's vehicle, by her. I always have my wife schedule her own vehicle in, because if there comes a day where I can't be a part of vehicle repair for her, she needs to know how to deal with shops and they clearly saw this as an opportunity to prey on a female that doesn't know about vehicle repairs.
