This was an awesome RV park. Easy in and out. Pull through slots with 50 foot concrete pads.

Why the owners choose this chaos is baffling. There was a tent for the bar, but with all the rain of late a tent for waiting guests would have been nice as we waited in mass in a thunderstorms. It's an attractive venue on the small side. The seats a terribly uncomfortable and entirely too close for grown adult The staff was curt an abrupt as they were adding chairs for the event. It was a basic mess with bad vibes. Freezing the entire evening. We had to leave it was so uncomfortably cold. The parking lot is a tripping hazard. Big broken pieces to navigate with pot holes. I'm extremely excited to see the performance tonight and this is no reflection on the artist we came to see.

Instead, there was a pot of coffee and some packets of instant grits. There is absolutely no maid or housekeeping service whatsoever. Three days of wet towels because no one ever changed them, or made the bed. In fact, when we arrived in the room, someone's candy wrapper was still on the nightstand. I took a photo of it. The website also failed to mention that it is adjacent to the train tracks, so all night long you get to hear trains go by (along with their whistles). This regularly recurring event shakes the floor and bed several times during the night. The website also does not explain that the "Grand Ballroom" is across a very tiny courtyard from two of the rooms, so for two nights in a row we were forced to deal with noisy people partying and smoking in the courtyard, their shouts and cigarette smoke wafting up to our room. We couldn't sleep until after midnight both nights. Not once did we see any owner or manager. It's a shame that such a beautiful house is run by people who have no idea what hospitality means.

Absolutely Outstanding Stay - Best Holiday Inn Express Experience Hands Down!…read more I just wrapped up an incredible stay at the Holiday Inn Express Pascagoula-Moss Point, and wow--what a gem! From the moment I walked in, the super friendly staff had me feeling like family. Shoutout to the front desk team--they were genuinely welcoming, helpful with local recommendations, and always smiling no matter what time of day. The rooms are seriously spacious--big, modern, and spotless. Plenty of room to spread out, comfortable beds that felt like sleeping on clouds, crisp fresh linens, and everything just smelled clean and inviting. It's the kind of place where you actually look forward to coming back after a long day. And the breakfast? Absolute game-changer. They go way beyond the standard continental--hot options like eggs, sausage, waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, and great coffee that kept flowing. It was delicious, well-stocked every morning, and the variety made starting the day easy and enjoyable. The whole property is well-maintained, quiet, convenient off I-10, and perfect for anyone passing through or staying in the Moss Point/Pascagoula area. Cleanliness is top-tier, value is unbeatable, and the vibe is just positive all around. If you're looking for a reliable, upgraded Holiday Inn Express experience with big rooms, killer breakfast, and staff that truly cares--book this place without hesitation. 10/10, will definitely be back next time I'm in the area! Highly recommend--easily one of the best in the chain.

But my choices are limited due the fact I am in a wheelchair. I is extremely hard to find a B&B or cottages that are wheelchair accessible, almost never. But Government Street Cottages has a REAL WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE ROOM!!!!. It is wonderfully decorated as well. Parking is great. Large bathroom, plenty of room to maneuver. Roll-In Shower. We can't wait to go back for a few days to just get away again. And the location is just down the street from great shopping, dinning and entertainment. I would recommend to bring a cooler if you plan a long visit. It has a microwave and a small fridge as you would find in most hotels (only so much room). This would give you the option of storing more food related items and drinks, especially if you bring the kiddos. Cant wait to return. You just don't find places like this offered for the wheelchair community. Great job Government Street Cottages!!!

No cockroaches or bed…read morebugs that I saw however I didn't have any food in my room and was only there for one night. The staff is also very friendly. The parking area didn't feel like a safe place for me to leave my car, and it was a bit of a rough crowd that seemed to be staying there. One guy was intently staring at me as I unloaded my car, and there is no security for the hotel. The room felt clean, which was good for a $135 room fee (plus $15 pet fee). Also there are shelves by the sink that are extremely easy for cats to jump onto. This makes it possible for them to climb onto the extremely weak plastic light fixture over the sink. I tried my best to block off this shelf with boxes from my car, but my clever cat still managed to climb up there and wake me multiple times throughout the night. The platform of the bed is also about eight inches from the wall allowing dogs or cats a perfect hard to reach hiding spot. My brother was placed in a room next to the laundry room which also has the maids utility closet in it. He woke to someone doing their laundry at 3am, and then again at 9am to the maids laughing and talking loudly. I recommend trying to get a room that isn't near the laundry area if you're going to stay here.

The bed wasn't super comfy and I don't think I'd want to stay here longer than a night or two. The next morning we were a little slow to leave and ended up checking out about a half hour late. Much to my surprise no one tried to charge me anything extra and didn't even rush us out which was a blessing! In a mad rush, I needed to find a room for the night. This was a last minute booking after a very long day of driving. On the positive side- the room was quiet, cool and safe. Sadly though, that's where the positive aspects end. The room smelled like it was soaked in urine. I get that this hotel is pet-friendly (which is wonderful), but their maintenance & housekeeping are terrible. Sticky, filthy stained floors. Damaged walls. The fridge was nasty. Though the sheets were clean, the bed/mattress smelled horrific. I literally almost slept in the car, and maybe should have. I loved my stay here. So much fun! The room was clean and comfortable. Not a whole lot of bells and whistles, but the bed was comfy, the water pressure was good, and the air conditioning worked well. The casino was great! I loved it. I had a great time playing blackjack at a ten-dollar minimum table, and on my first time trying out roulette, I won $72 dollars. Woo hoo! I paid the $20 fee as a hotel guest to use the spa amenties. They had a fantastic sauna and steam room that I enjoyed greatly, and a comfy little resting room with tea and snacks. I was given a locker, robe, and slippers, and I spent about an hour enjoying. Their pool was a bit chilly for me in April, so I didn't swim, but I'm sure that in warmer weather, it would be great. The gym was superb. I had a 30-minute workout before my spa visit, and I appreciated all the weights, abs balls, cardio equipment, and cold bottled water. I also appreciated that it was easy to change the TV channels (why work out to the news when you can work out to sports or a movie?). We splurged and had a steak dinner at Mignon's, the Palace steakhouse. I must still be alive, because I'm writing this review, but I thought I had died and gone to heaven after eating fried green tomatoes with Gulf shrimp, five-cheese onion soup, and a fillet with creamed spinach. Hospitality was excellent, from check in, to spa, to dealers at the casino, to bell service, to Mignon's, to the staff in the gift shop, to the server at the coffee shop. She made me a darned good caramel latte, too. I loved walking out to the view of the harbor at sunset. It was a windy evening, and the air was cool and smelled like salt. Beautiful. The Palace Casino and Resort gave me a great taste of casino report fun in Biloxi, Mississipi, a town I found to be homey and friendly, a place I'd definitely visit again.
