It was my mother-in-law's first time trying Indian food, and the owner (or who I believe was the owner) took the time to walk her through the dishes and answer all her questions. That level of care really stood out. We had a group with very different spice tolerances, and every dish was perfectly executed. The mild dishes were still rich and flavorful, while the "Indian hot" options had the right amount of heat--definitely a kick, but in the best way. Even the kids cleaned their plates, which says a lot. To top it off, we had pistachio ice cream for dessert, and it was out. of. this. world. I ordered the Rogan Josh--my personal favorite--and was impressed by the generous portions and the large, tender chunks of meat. Across the board, the chicken, goat, and lamb dishes had a great meat-to-sauce ratio, which you don't always find. I honestly can't say enough good things about this place.
