They also have a solid selection of pastries and desserts that are worth trying. That said, it is still Whole Foods, so prices can be pretty high and not the best option if you are on a tight budget. I stopped by around lunchtime and the hot food bar was open, but it did not look very fresh and seemed like it had been sitting out for a while, probably because this location does not get as much traffic.

The short rib section was sadly empty so I will have to shop at a few other grocery stores for my Christmas entree. As for the hot and ready to eat foods I grabbed, I had the vegetable egg rolls, sesame tofu, and fried rice. The egg rolls and tofu were good and passable for a quick cheap lunch, but the fried rice was near inedible. Veggies were cooked and tender, flavor was good, but the rice was entirely undercooked. I struggled to even find a single grain of rice that wasn't raw and hard and since I had mixed my rice with my tofu it nearly ruined lunch. I wouldn't call this experience indicative of of Eastsides typical good quality food, so I wont judge too harshly, but I hope this experience wont repeat itself.

I admired the gorgeous alpaca items--the hats are fun and they have some of the most gorgeous knots I've ever seen. Don't miss their mittens and gloves: warm, beautiful, and oh-so-functional (you can fold the tops off for extra dexterity!). I also went through the supplements and beauty section and bought some vitamins (I do love my vitamins) and a lip balm. The lip balms here are all really good, and it's easy to find petroleum free if you prefer. All the ones that I looked at were largely plant-based, though many contain beeswax.
