Unfortunately, when we took the meal home. It was not very good flavor. The lassi a little sour.

Quick service and good food! Parking can be a little tricky cause it's on the street but well worth the food you get in return!

We didn't even get to eat here…read more We got there no hostess just a bunch of people waiting in the entrance. We waited a good 5-8 min before someone came over. There was plenty of tables but just not coming to check the front. First red flag. They finally sat us, never asked anything for drinks nothing. Very rude. We waited a good 20 min with no one coming over. Finally someone came over to take our order. I explained I needed GLuten free and diary free and was wondering why non of the veg apps were gf when usually they are. The server had no clue. Explaining that they have yogurt I showed him the symbol that said it was vegan so there couldn't be yoghurt. He said he'd go ask. We waited another 5 min or so then decided to get up. They were also rude to other people sitting around us and they messed up other orders. We decided it wasn't worth spending any more time and especially money so we left. Definitely don't recommend

Ive probably been 5 times now and each time their has been a funky, chemical like smell in the restaurant. The employees are also not the friendliest. I usually get takeout and when I do ive had to wait up to 30 minutes past the time that I chose for pick up, if the food isnt going to be ready until 5:30 dont tell me I can pick it up at 5. But... with all that being said the food has been really good. I usually get butter chicken from them. The chicken is well seasoned, the gravy is thick and seasoned heavily. Its not the best Butter Chicken I've ever had but for Michigan its pretty darn good. They give you a healthy amount of rice, but its not the best rice I've tried. Their naan is better then most ive tried around the GR area, soft and pillowy. The food is about a 4 but the service and ambiance are closer to 2.

The service was amazing, with all the staff being friendly and attentive. The food was just as amazing. Our appetizer, vegetable pakora, was lightly fried with two amazing dipping sauces. The tikka masala was just as perfect. This is for sure our new date night spot!

The lamb saag was rich, perfectly spiced, and the lamb was so tender it practically melted. The lamb mushroom curry had incredible depth of flavor -- earthy, savory, and just the right amount of heat. And the butter chicken? Creamy, comforting, and honestly some of the best I've tasted -- not too sweet, not too heavy, just perfectly balanced. On top of the amazing food, the service was wonderful. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed from the moment we walked in. It's clear they care about the experience just as much as the food. I can't recommend Roti enough. Whether you're craving something rich and hearty or just want a great meal with excellent service, this place delivers on every level. We'll definitely be back -- and I'm already looking forward to trying more of the menu! If you haven't been to Roti yet, do yourself a favor and go. You won't regret it.

Important Note: this is behind the Boost Mobile, and not so easy to see. A family-run three-person operation, Mithu is exactly the kind of restaurant operation that elevates a community. It's located in the Towne & Country shopping center, which has other proud national restaurants. I started off with the Gobi Manchurian, which really shows off cauliflower at its best. Savory, crispy, with a sweet slightly spicy tang. (You can customize the spiciness of most dishes on a 1-10 scale.) The Kottu Roti might best be described as Sri Lankan stuffing, light and flavorful. A complex dish with the flavor profile that just kept giving little sparkles of delight. The garlic naan, screamingly hot out of the tandoor, was a perfect vehicle for the other dishes. The mango lasi was fresh and not too sweet, highlighting the fruit. A+ would sip again. The staff are wonderful, attentive, and enthusiastic. This is a great place to bring friends and explore the menu. You'll thank me later.
