My fave, go to main meal is now the chicken tikka masala has enough of everything, packed with flavour and doesn't make me cry like the vindaloo! Also, little tip for you... order the garlic Naan! It's worth the buck and then some. I've often ordered from them when having guests over so whether it be a small order for 2 or larger group they've got you covered. The delivery service is always prompt, never had any issues here and the once time they had a long delivery timeframe they made it know over the phone when I placed the order to make sure I was ok with the wait... More take away/delivery places should take note, if ye know ye are up against it, let us know when ordering... I ordered the chicken tiki supreme with a side or garlic naan and some samosas. I was disappointed when the samosas didn't come with any chutney and I had to order it for extra on the side. The chicken tiki was okay, not the best nor the worst. Something positive I can say about it is how it was nice and hot when served. As for the garlic naan it was probably my favorite but not the best I've ever had. The service was a little below average my waiter seemed annoyed with me even though I was the only costumer in the restaurant. He rolled his eyes at me when I asked for a glass of ice and he was not friendly at all. As for the ambiance it was quite pretty but there was a smell that I couldn't get past when I walked in. The bathrooms were also a little on the dirtier side and the toilet in the women's bathroom did not flush. Overall I would save your time and money and go eat Indian food elsewhere, there is so many amazing Indian food restaurants in Dublin that are way tastier than kasturi.

I wanted a dish with a little heat and the haldi chili prawns fit the bill. I used the rice to absorb the finger licking sauce. This meal was spot on, and the spicing was exceptional: there was a great balance of spice, heat, and flavour. The fat level was quite pleasant and there was beautiful use of green cardimom pod in the Roganjosh, and black cardimom pod in the Okra. The lamb was soft and flaked apart nicely under my fork without being dry. The service was quick, and polite, and I was able to walk in without a reservation. The place is spotless, clean, well furnished and has some extra touches in place including nice woodwork, and woven place mats and special cushions to sit on. Great experience. 5 stars!

For mains I normally go for the chicken bhuna, its always good and makes a change from the kormas which are a bit on the creamy side. The Chicken biriany is also very good, extremely filling though. All the mains are served on a table plate heater so you can taste everything, as long as your dining companions don't mind. Portions are pretty amble so a empty stomach before you go in is certainly needed. beers and wines are served. Watch out for the parking downstairs as well, its only free after 7.30 in the evening and they do clamp.
