I'm not sure if the management or cooking staff changed, but the food was nowhere near as good as it used to be. I was able to taste my wife's butter chicken, and it honestly tasted like glorified tomato soup. The creamy, 'butter' part of 'butter chicken' was nowhere to be found. I ordered the chicken vindaloo: normally, vindaloo is a spicy and very tasty dish. In this case, I could feel the pleasant spicy sensation in my mouth, but the vindaloo tasted like, well, absolutely nothing. It was the most bizarre thing: a complete lack of any distinguishing flavors or taste. Such a disappointment. Also, the containers holding our butter chicken and vindaloo were both relatively empty of any real meat: it was 80 percent sauce. On the plus side, the rice and naan bread was good, but the rest of the meal was a disappointment.

The potatoes were perfectly cooked and seasoned, the chicken was great and the roti was fresh and wonderful. The portions were very generous. We'd really recommend this small, casual place.
