I have seven or eight pets at any given time so it's nice to be able to get everything I need in one visit. Their prices are fairly similar to large stores that can order more product as well so I'm pretty impressed that they're rarely much more expensive. I'm sad they don't have animals for sale anymore but I completely understand why - people will immediately point fingers the second their animal gets sick or dies, even if it's a long time after. I also like that this small town pet store is open every day - I often work Monday through Saturday and most stores are closed Sunday. Thanks, guys! I'll continue to do all my shopping here.

The selection here, as far as food, toys, litter, etc., is top notch. The store cat Leo is cool as hell and we were lucky enough to stop in for his birthday celebration/sale. My girlfriend and I work in Ann Arbor but live in Dearborn, and we decided to make the trip out on a weekend just to catch the sale, because not only was everything 15% off (cat products) , but the first fifty customers received goody bags. As expected, the goody bags came packed full of cat stuff that I know my cats are going to love. We are now at the point that my cats actually recognize the Pet Emporium bags and will try to sneak towards the bag and try to pull out various treats and toys. If you have a pet I highly suggest you stop by and check this place out. Your pets will thank you!!

If you have any questions on any of the animals Tony, his wife or his staff are always willing to help in anyway they can. I bought two royal pythons and a fish from them. All of them are still very healthy. Any time I have trouble with my pets (even the ones I didn't purchase there) they are always willing to give me advise or help in any way they can. Sometimes when I go in just to buy some food or something small for my pets I end up staying for hours just playing with the animals and talking to who ever is working there at the time. Everyone is very friendly and they all know me, and get to know all of their clientele as much as they can. All of their stock for the animals is safe clean and new. If you live in the greater northwest Ohio area and want a new pet or need something for your own, this is defiantly the place to go.
