We highly recommend Moriarty Electric for generator and HVAC services. They installed 2 dual HVACs…read morein our home on two of the hottest days so far this year and were professional and considerate workers. Cannot ask for a more responsive or professional electric company. We will not search elsewhere for any of the very reasonably priced services that they offer!

I called these folks to get an estimate on a stand alone generator for my home. At the time i…read morecalled Generac was offering a 10 year warranty on their products. They could not get to me for a few weeks and the promotion would expire. I was told I could put $100.00 down and get the deal even though they would not get to me for a few weeks. I asked if it was refundable and was told for sure. They came out, the price was reasonable and they left. I told them I would call with me decision. After doing more research I found Kohler was a much better generator with a better dealer network. I got a price from them that was more but was a bigger generator and the placement was better. So I went with them. I call for my refund and they tell me they have to wait to get the permit money back from my town. Why would I wait for a refund? I did not authorize them to buy a permit or do anything. Why would a company go ahead with a job that was not OK'd by the home owner? Well here I am going on a few weeks and still no check, none of my phone calls to them returned. What a shady outfit. Had I have known I certainly would not have used them. I guess small claims will be me next step, but why do they make one go to that point? Just a shame.

I had a bucket list of items that I needed help with. I got ridiculous quotes from other electricians, $2200, $2600, $2500. Marty came by, looked at the job and had decided the best course of action what to just do Time and Materials at his hourly rate. It saved him from underestimating/overestimating and I could manage the costs fairly. Items completed: 1. Deck Post light caps: Caseta switch installation. Also diagnosing some incorrect connections (I had made incorrect connections previously). Wiring an incomplete LV wiring run to complete a 'missing' section of lights. 2. Under deck puck lights: 15 Amp box and 2nd Caseta switch installation powering puck lights 3. Troubleshooting Magnitude MLV Transformer (found bad caseta switch and worked with Lutron support to diagnose and get replacement) 4. Installed heat tape on troublesome (ice/snow) roof section I got everything done for roughly $600.00. (I bought all the materials in advance ~$100 worth and did some "brain dead" stuff myself (like running 14/2 UF wire through existing conduit). In any event, I was thrilled with T&M as was he. I believed I saved roughly $1500 by spending an hour or two myself and having Marty come in for the rest. I think I found my new 'go to' electrician in my area. Fair, honest and hard working.

We were tight on cash and he took the time to set up the quote/ project in phases. I loved the long term plan* with EVERYTHING priced down to the penny, NO SURPRISES! Now how refreshing is that? It's been about a year since he finished "phase one" and we've gone all out ADHD on our home improvement projects, but when we finally make it back to finishing our smaller electrical projects, Marty's our man! *disclaimer: OBVIOUSLY prices will change as time passes! I will fully expect Marty to re-calculate the bottom line as we move through our future projects. THE POINT IS, you'll know upfront!

Our recent annual maintenance service with Gammon's Heating & Cooling was an excellent experience,…read morethanks to technicians Tyler and Aaron. Their technical proficiency was evident throughout the visit. They serviced our nine wall units and two outdoor condensing units with care, attention to detail, and a clear commitment to doing the job correctly. Although our heat pumps were originally purchased and installed by Gammon's, this was our first full annual maintenance under their service program. We had expected the work to occur in early fall or mid‑winter, but due to a high volume of emergency heating calls, the company requested that we defer to spring. While the delay was understandable, it highlighted the importance of strong scheduling and dispatch coordination. During the visit, Tyler and Aaron identified several condensate drains that had not yet been tied into the sewer system and completed that final installation step. This proactive work likely prevented future moisture‑related damage to walls or flooring, and we are grateful for their diligence. Their problem‑solving skills, tenacity, and customer‑focused approach stood out and gave us confidence in the long‑term reliability of our equipment. We did choose to upgrade to a more comprehensive maintenance plan and look forward to having our annual service scheduled just ahead of the winter heating season. We recommend Gammon's Heating & Cooling and believe the company delivers strong technical service. One area of opportunity is dispatching and scheduling. It would be helpful for dispatch to confirm the number of units at a customer's home, understand where equipment is located, and estimate the appropriate number of technicians needed. Additionally, providing more accurate arrival windows--or proactive updates when schedules shift--would help customers avoid waiting longer than expected. Overall, the quality of the technicians' work was excellent, and with some refinements to scheduling and communication, the customer experience could be even stronger. We look forward to their handyman sheet rocker coming to patch and match wall section removed and their electrician coming to correct ground fault circuit that appears to be missing a neutral wire.

Absolutely awful…read more Since I posted my first review, we found out that two of our units were faultily installed. One led to widespread leaking (where they didn't attach the hose properly to the unit to have it drain out) that ruined our second floor ceiling and destroyed a closet. Over a year later, we started to see our living room unit leak water profusely. An agent was sent out yesterday to fix it, but lacked a ladder and said he would be back. He never was, and attempts to get someone out here again have been met with bald faced lies - "we have no record of a visit set up." These people do not install these heat pumps correctly. We have had widespread damage to our house as a result of their negligence. Do not use them EVER. Not only is their installation crappy and negligent, but their communication is faulty and suspect. Do not waste your money.
