I can't believe there aren't more reviews about this place, because knowing the truth would have swayed me away from purchasing. So here's one! If you are thinking of buying or renting here, simply don't. The surface amenities are great - balconies, on the corner of the park, concierge, etc. But the reality is that living here is awful. Given all units are individually owned, and the building is almost 50 years old, there is a constant stream of renovations happening. Somehow, it doesn't matter if the unit renovating is 15 floors away on the opposite corner of the building, you will hear every single noise as if it is happening directly above you. If you work from home, it absolutely sucks and just when you think the unit is done renovating, another one will start. The door and desk people are incredible, but the management absolutely needs to be fired. They play favorites, and are incapable of responding to emails in a timely nor professional manner. The are also not good at communicating simple updates to the building - they sent 7+ emails to stop bothering them about a power outage but could not send a single email that the power outage was fixed and elevators were back up & running. Also, if you have dog allergies, don't like dogs, or are afraid of dogs (3 very understandable things), DO NOT move here or you will be faced with inconsiderate neighbors who use the hallways as personal dog parks & let their dogs run into & out of elevators with no leash. I urge you, find a different place to buy and rent. Do not make the same mistake I did. & if you don't believe me, read one of the 'hidden' reviews for this place, they say similar things & you have to wonder why it's hidden? read more
