Bad sports programming and support. Way too heavy handed in discipline. Seriously, the punishments here are not close to reasonable. More homework than seen even at local high schools. Limited ability to build relationship with other students. Zero student freedoms! Still following COVID procedures to limit students' ability to socialize (can't sit next to anyone at lunch). Students have more freedom in elementary school next door. Complete lack of respect for students and parents. Many bad teachers (there were a few good ones, though). Flight time is not managed well. Clubs just mysteriously stop or just never start. Bad parent communication. Overall, this has been a horrible experience for my family. This school is nowhere near the caliber of Thompsons Station Middle or Spring Station Middle even though all are Wilco. Stay away if you are able.

Their current head coach chooses his kid for most of the spots and he didn't even do tryouts he just puts kids wherever and he is very rude to the parents and tells the kids to tell the parents not to email him. We moved to the area a little over a year ago and he asked to take hip hop lessons. After some google searches I called and spoke with the owner and knew it would be a good fit for my son. He LOVES going every week and has learned some pretty snazzy moves. The price point is very reasonable and the costume fee is appropriate. There is a large variety of classes-including classes for adults. They rent out spaces for music lessons and there is also a musical theater that practices there.

Hateful words from a crazy parent kept my child from attending school…read more First of all, it is a very good school. Teachers and students are kind and parents are nice.Except some Japanese parents. The other day, after school, my child was playing in the school yard.A group of Japanese mothers, who were a short distance away, said to my child, "We don't want you to play here with our children." My child did not do anything, just playing normally. The day after those words were said, My child was so traumatized that my child could no longer go to school. If they had something to say, they could have gone directly to me, the parent, but they didn't. They don't have the courage. Or do they just want to bully the weak? Just throwing a hateful word is unforgivable, but an adult, in a group, does it to an elementary school student. What are they thinking? There were several adults there, and no one questioned it? The place where they were playing was a public school yard. Why should they be told such a thing when my child were playing in own school yard? The Japanese mothers are said to be making small talk with a group of people every day after school while letting her children play. Do they think they have the schoolyard all to themselves? If they don't want my child to play together, why don't they play in their own yard or send them to a private school instead of a public school? Because of the hateful words of some crazy Japanese parents, my child's heart has been scarred for life. The school itself is a very good school, and if you don't get involved with those people, you will have a very good school life.
