It didn't resolve the issues. Section of the sliding glass windows jam and do not slide. I was told that some were not meant to slide? Yet, their literature states: "Standard configurations include sliding windows." Window frames are separating from window glass. 2. Unreliable: Project was anticipated to start 01/01/2024 and be completed by 01/31/2024. We are now in June 2025. When asked about the time beyond stated 30 day period, the response was: "It was just an estimate". During that time we endured delays for: week long seminar in Florida in January 2024; several days in February 2024 to see a tax accountant for business and then personal income taxes; set-up and attend home show; weather; personal issues; super busy; lost track of time, delays attributed to third party vendors. 3. Communications Most of the time required multiple request for updates with either little or no response . 4. Workmanship Had to redo or revisit most installations: electrical outlets; windows leaking; motion detection light failed; electrical worked performed: i.e. improper AMP circuit breaker was installed at main breaker box for AC/Heater; power cord for new AC/Heater was replaced. TL;DR The quality of the materials and installation is very good, but after being told that our…read moreaccount was settled, they keep calling asking for more money and never send an invoice or any other documentation. We contracted Long Fence to do an install of a new fence and a repair of an old one. The installation and repair went smoothly and we are happy with the results. Dealing with the company after words, however, has been a huge pain. Upon completion of the job, the installers didn't provide us with an invoice, but instead gave us four envelopes with hand written amounts on them and nothing else. They didn't speak English very well, so we weren't able to get an explanation on what we were supposed to do with these so we called the Long Fence office to settle up the remainder of what was owed after our deposit. They gave us an amount to pay and we payed over the phone. This amount plus the deposit didn't add up to the quote that they gave us, but they said that our bill was all settled up, so rock on. About two weeks later I started receiving calls saying that we owed more money. I stated that we were told that our account was settled, but the person on the phone said that we still owed more. I asked for an invoice showing how much we owed (I'm not in the habit of paying large sums of money to someone over the phone just because they said so). They said that they'd get an invoice to us and ended the call. To this date, I've never received an invoice. For the last six weeks, the same person calls asking for payment, and every time I ask for an invoice detailing the original amount, the amount we've already payed, and the balance remaining. I even ask them if they have my correct email address, and they say that they do and end the call. We've called the Long Fence office multiple times trying to resolve this, and are constantly told that someone will look into it. The only return contact we receive is the same person asking for payment every week.
