The bright and light blend packs a punch. Fantastic. - A white coffee bag featuring a label that reads 'Ethiopia' and 'Single Origin,' with a logo for Incidental Coffee Roasters, is positioned inside a glass display case. The bag appears to be sealed and is part of the coffee products offered by the shop. The background includes a small table with QR codes and other items, suggesting a retail or tasting environment.

I can't believe I stumbled upon this place in Provo, Utah! I am a coffee, bean snob, and very hard to please. This place had only two choices, a daily drip which was light and bright and delicious and in espresso that was on the lighter side in full of flavor. If you really like coffee, I mean, really appreciate the bean without any added accoutre man, this place is for you. From CHATGPT: Provo: Best Coffee Roasters & Cafés 1. Incidental Coffee Roasters * A rising star in Provo's coffee scene, Incidental Coffee Roasters began roasting in 2021 and opened their downtown café in early 2025. They focus on single-origin beans with nuanced flavor profiles--like their Costa Rica Chirripó with notes of molasses, pistachio, and apple tea. Their cozy café at 27 N 100 W is open Monday through Saturday, 7 AM to 4 PM.

Menu - A rectangular white menu board hangs from the ceiling, listing various coffee drinks, non-coffee beverages, and extras. The coffee section includes espresso, americano, cortado, cappuccino, flat white, latte, cold brew, drip/batch brew, pour over, and French press with prices. The non-coffee section features loose leaf tea, matcha latte, chai latte, hot chocolate, and kids' boozy steamers. Additional options include extras like extra shot, almond milk, coconut milk, syrups, and syrups. The menu is printed in black text with a logo at the top center.

Finally a specialty coffee spot in Utah County! I had a washed Kenya pour over that was delicious, and for $5 it's a great deal.

Iced americano with a splash of coconut milk - An iced coffee beverage in a clear plastic cup with a lid and straw is positioned on a light wooden table. The drink appears to be coffee with milk, and ice cubes are visible inside. In the background, there are two potted plants: one with broad, round leaves and another with long, narrow, variegated leaves, set against a brick wall and a white wall. The setting suggests a cozy indoor or outdoor cafe environment.

We tried the Bee Sting (with a zinger) and a Vanilla Latte. You can tell they roast their own beans and make their syrups in-house in every sip. It totally elevated the flavors. We also grabbed a bagel with cream cheese and tomato jam along with the Bob Marley toast. To be honest, we had pretty low expectations for the food since it's a coffee shop, but we walked away so satisfied. The building itself is pretty cool and it was fun to explore the space a bit. It's a bit of a hidden gem and it was surprisingly quiet for a Sunday. There isn't a ton of seating, but since there wasn't a huge rush, we had no trouble finding a spot. We really liked the vibe here and will be back sooner than later.

Nothing like fresh beans from a local shop. They had ~15 different roasts that you can buy and take home, which gives something for everyone. The shop itself was built on a former bank, and there is still a safe in the center of the room. Which sets a cool tone for hanging out and drinking coffee. They have a small food menu, with things like avocado toast and bagels, that I'll have to try out next time. They staff is pretty nice and willing to make recommendations, and make each drink from scratch. The americano was good, but I'd want to try other drinks on my next visit. I would definitely suggest stopping in for your morning cup, or at least trying a bag of beans for home.

Sumato Coffee - Freshly roasted beans. Colombian is newest, but my favorite is bold Thousand Mountains

Ethically sourced, freshly roasted and delivered right to your door, awesome! Nice variety of blends, this is a treat for any coffee aficionado! Subscriptions available to meet your needs for types, quantity and frequency. Average cost ~$15-17 per 12 oz bag plus shipping, but it's not just your average coffee "chain" beans!! My personal favorite is the Thousand Mountains blend of Colombian and Guatemalan beans; it's their darkest roast, bold and strong with a hint of chocolate-ness yet smooth and flavorful. I've tried several of Sumato's blends, but this one is tops for me! I've been ordering for a couple years and always appreciate the roasted freshness of their beans when they arrive. Check out Sumato on-line (sumatocoffee.com), and order a "sampler" variety of blends to see which one fits your personal taste palate, or order some as a gift for someone you know who loves coffee! And they do offer some holiday and subscription discounts during the year. ENJOY!!!
