Shame you cant give 0 starts, because quite frankly that is all Inchcape ford Guildford deserve.
Had them service a car, in the process they allegedly changed the brake fluid, and in doing so they had to remove the front wipers and plastic panel to get to the fluid reservoir. But in replacing this, they cracked the windscreen and denied all knowledge of doing it! RAC auto windscreens confirmed this had been damaged sustained in the replacement of this plastic panel, and not stone damage. Refused to cover cost of a replacement windscreen. Top top it all off, they had also put the wipers back incorrectly so they sat part of the way up the windscreen.
Having had the car serviced again a year later, the brake fluid needed changing again (according to another main ford dealer...Dagenham Motors), as it had not been done properly by inchape and had a high concentration of water in it, which could cause brake failure. They suggested it had either been done incorrectly, or not done at all.
Finally, I was charged for a new cabin pollen filter, however when I checked it several months later, I found it had not been changed. I know this, as I changed it a year before, and wrote my name and date on it when I put it in, and surprise surprise, it was still there!
Overall, I am never going back. I have contacted them about these issues, and despite a written statement from RAC about the windscreen, and from dagenham motors about the brake fluid - not to mention the air filter their service manager doesn't seem to care. Offered us a free valet to say sorry. wow free valet does no way cover £120 worth of brake fluid change, £40 worth of labour and parts for a pollen filter and £700 of damage to the windscreen.
