Once I lost my phone there and I told the office and they did nothing. Same thing happened to a girl this Friday. Someone stole her phone and she told the office and office blamed her and did nothing. She was crying, so hard. cant wait to graduate and leave. There was a teacher who broke my friend's phone and my friend reported the teacher and nothing happened to the teacher NOTHING. Too much favoritism by PE teachers. A kid broke her leg was forced to change. There was a kid who had problems and that kid needed an assistant, and the kid went to accros the school and school didn't even knew about it. Once my friend had a doctor Note that she cant do PE but teacher forced her to run she almost passed out, but orher girls without any notes they didn't run but talked with teacher like friends. So my recommendation is never come to this school. F_ck THIS ACHOOL

Most of the funding only funds the robotics and cinema teams. Teachers do not teach and fail students on purpose and the administration has not done anything to fix the problem since they don't hear anyone out. We told the counselors about the issues they're having with teachers but they don't care at all and never do anything about it. I told my teachers before hand that I had a competition to go to and needed extra time to do the homework, I finished it and showed it to them and they said that apparently it's too late, it was impossible to finish all the homework they assigned, plus the extra homework they gave in one day so they gave me a zero. Kortoshian and Landisi ruined this school and they don't know how to run a school. They give you a ton of homework and tests which take away all your free time. No one deserves to go to this school.

I was originally intending for this to be a humorous review, but Andy O. has done a fine job…read moreoutlining the funnier points of the mess that is Anderson W. Clark Magnet High School. Clark touts recognition at the state and national levels for being a top school, and likes to promote its GUSD-leading API ranking, but let's be honest here, the bar is low. There are a few staff members and teachers who care about and do their jobs well, but on the whole, Clark is a case study on academic mismanagement and why many students in the American educational system succeed in spite of the schools they attend rather than because of them. As I sit here at 27 years of age writing this, I'm fairly happy with where I am in my life. I graduated from a top university and work at a job I love, which just happens to be with one of the most successful companies in history. I'm not trying to come off sounding like a tool here, but I want to make it clear that my success in these two areas commonly associated with a quality high school education came as a result of my own hard work, talent, and determination rather than anything Clark can take credit for. Thank you, Clark, for the 'innovative' curriculum that ended up being completely misaligned with the first-year prerequisites at nearly every U.S. university, the lack of any *quality* extracurricular activities, and your Draconian code-of-conduct which sought to stifle any sort of self-expression and created a culture hell-bent on breeding America's next group of mindless followers rather than its future innovators, thinkers, and leaders. On a more personal note, thanks for the 4 or 5 (?) suspensions as well. Like Andy Oh, I guess I too am a gangster. This review is getting too long and angsty already, so I think I'll end here. I will leave you with one last funnier memory, though. During one of its first years in operation, Clark was extremely excited to field a team for the district-wide academic bowl. Expectations were set high since, you know, Clark was full of nothing but the brightest students being coached by the best staff. End result? Last place finish.

The staff is warm, caring, and truly dedicated to the students' growth -- both academically and personally. I'm especially impressed with **Mrs. Karim** **Ms Marquez** and **Mrs. Payne** -- they are amazing teachers who go above and beyond. My daughter learned how to read in Kindergarten and is now learning to compose full sentences with confidence and creativity. It's wonderful to see her enthusiasm for learning grow! Glendale Adventist Academy has created such a positive and nurturing environment, and I couldn't be happier with the foundation my child is receiving here. For those who write negative reviews- In 2025 the administration changed and with change comes adaptation- Most parents could not accept changes with stricter administrative regulations for safety.

GAA has been one of the most disappointing experiences we've ever had to deal with. At a Christian…read moreschool, you would expect kindness, compassion, and genuine community to be at the center of everything. But instead, my sister has faced bullying, exclusion, and cruelty from students who are supposed to represent love and faith. My family chose this school because Christianity is a core part of our lives, and we believed she would be surrounded by peers who shared those values. Instead, she was met with the exact opposite; mockery, unkindness, and behavior that is the furthest thing from what God teaches. This isn't about one student. This is a cultural problem, a failure in guidance and leadership. If a school claims to prioritize faith, then it should actively teach empathy, humility, and compassion and not allow hurtful behavior to go unchecked. Do better. Hold your students accountable. Teach them to live the values you preach, not just speak them. No child deserves to feel alone or targeted in a place that claims to be built on God's love.

The reason he told me to do the report was that I told him Since I am Christian I wanted to learn something about Jewish culture - so reading a mystery about a Rabbi was his answer.
