As it turned out, I am either not fat enough or too tall to qualify for the program that I wanted. But since I'm not entirely sure of my height, we scheduled another appointment two weeks away, during which Simona would measure me. I decided that I would start using heavy weights again to build muscle, since a foot fracture derailed my workouts and caused weight gain. However...I then decided that I probably am too tall and still might not qualify. And I likely couldn't gain significantly more muscle in two weeks. So I went on Groupon to get a refund. To my COMPLETE surprise, my Groupon had been redeemed without my knowledge or consent. I called, and it was explained to me that they always redeem the Groupons upon arrival, in order to prevent people from getting the service and then claiming a refund. While I understand that concern, it's a terrible business practice to do that BEFORE determining eligibility. I probably did look fat enough, as I was wearing a baggy sweatshirt over leggings. I was not told that they had redeemed my Groupon, probably because I had scheduled a new appointment. I told them that, commonly, providers ask me to pull up the voucher AFTER the service, or, if it's a facial treatment, sometimes when I arrive. And then *I* mark it as used in front of them. This action cannot be undone, so the provider is protected. I think this is a MUCH better practice, especially when there are eligibility requirements. As a side note, I am appalled to learn that people try to scam providers. Ugh. Shameful. Simona promptly sent the email confirming my ineligibility, which Groupon requires for a refund, and for that I'm grateful. I gave five stars because although I was initially very disappointed, then furious, the situation was handled as well as possible. I'm going to look at some of their other services, since I likely won't qualify for the one that I purchased.

Their pricing is transparent, and incredibly competitive. They are located in an unassuming building complex, but inside they are very clean, knowledgeable, and professional. I purchased laser hair removal for my underarms and Brazilian and they were so patient and thorough. Their laser is stronger than you can purchase for at home use, therefore it is more painful- the feeling is similar to a rubber band snap. However, it requires immensely less treatments because of its strength. The entire laser if process took around 10 minutes for both areas total and they use ice to cool the area which is a god send! I will absolutely be returning for the remainder of my laser treatments.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience. This is now the second year in a row that this…read morelocation has repeatedly canceled my appointments. My last four appointments have been canceled, and it seems to happen every time I start making progress with my treatments. This has already cost me a significant amount of time and money, and paying thousands of dollars for this level of service and lack of accountability is unacceptable. After receiving another cancellation, I called in May to see what could be done. I was told there were no options available at my location and that I could try scheduling at other locations that are much farther away. When I agreed, I found out that none of those locations had availability until August. I called in May, so waiting several more months for a treatment is unacceptable. The lack of staffing appears to be a recurring issue. At one point, the location was looking to hire an additional nurse but apparently never did. When the only nurse left, appointments were simply canceled with no meaningful solution for customers who had already paid thousands of dollars for services. They have traveling nurses, so why can't they have them start covering appointments and help keep treatments on schedule? How hard can it be to find a solution for existing customers? If turnover is this bad, management should take a serious look at what they are doing wrong and why they are unable to retain staff. The most frustrating part is the lack of accountability. I explained that I paid for a service and asked what could be done to address the repeated cancellations and treatment delays. I was told management would contact me. To this day, I have not received a phone call, email, or any follow-up. Laser hair removal requires consistent treatments to maintain results. Because of these delays and cancellations, I have experienced significant regrowth and feel that the value of the service I paid for has been severely impacted. At this point, if I do finally receive a response from management, I will have a hard time believing it is because they genuinely care about resolving the issue rather than because I was forced to leave a negative review in order to get someone's attention.

I have undergone tattoo removal in the past, so I understand that the process is painful and uncomfortable. I know it isn't going to be an easy treatment, but having the ability to take a quick break when needed makes a big difference. Unfortunately, my first experience with Natasha left me feeling very upset, discouraged, and anxious about returning for future treatments. Before we started, I asked how breaks work during the procedure and whether I could let her know if I needed one. She told me, "Me adjusting is your break." When I eventually asked for a break during the treatment, she responded, "Well, try and stay still when I'm doing it and it won't take as long." I understand that staying still is important and that the treatment takes time, but I found these comments dismissive and hurtful. Tattoo removal is painful, and asking for a moment to pause should not leave a client feeling guilty or defeated. I wasn't expecting the treatment to be painless; I was simply hoping for some patience, understanding, and compassion during an uncomfortable procedure. What makes this experience especially disappointing is that it was my very first visit to LaserAway, and I have nine more treatment sessions remaining in my package. Instead of feeling comfortable returning, I am now nervous and anxious about my next appointment in eight weeks. I have decided to visit the Denver location and request a different provider because I do not feel comfortable continuing treatment with Natasha. I am sharing this feedback because the experience genuinely affected me, and I hope LaserAway takes it seriously.
