Eric is an amazing barber. The shop is great! Would recommend to anyone! Everyone is friendly.

I went the day before Thanksgiving, which is usually one of the busiest days for barbershops, but despite that I only waited about five minutes thanks to the large number of barbers working. I live in New York but visit my brother in Arizona a couple times a year, and for the past 20 years I've never found a barbershop here that could give me a true New York style haircut, until now. They gave me a clean fade and used a straight razor to sharpen the lines on my beard. As for the Vibe, it's a model design with sports playing on all the TVs, which I loved. Probably my third time coming to this shop after being recommended because of their prices I decided "why not" not after today, So I walk in at 11am on a Tuesday 3 days before Christmas theirs only 2 barbers..... ON THE WEEK OF A HOLIDAY. Okay i get it things happen and that's okay their was only 3 other people ahead of me I figured I could wait. After waiting for an hour and a half a third barber showed up and helped out the gentlemen who was behind me in line, it was an older gentleman so I didn't mind. 20 minutes later a gentleman who had walked in then left to go eat around noon comes back in and Is yet assisted ahead of me. It was 1248 and the guys appointment wasn't until 1 the least the barber could've done is assisted me for the inconvenience of getting skipped twice and for wasting two hours of my day waiting around in a mediocre place of a barber shop. This was the last straw I won't be coming back and I sure as hell won't be recommending anyone to come here read more

Five days after my last haircut I found out they closed for a confirmed COVID-19 case. No one in the shop had face comings including the 3 barbers working or any clients. I held my mask to my face the whole time I was there. Decided to get a COVID-19 test, very happy it was negative! They have no care for anyone, I will not go back! Very disappointed they ignore any COVID-19 guidelines by the CDC or Pima County Health to protect clients or themselves. read more

We just stopped by Viking Barbershop since we're new to town, and my boyfriend definitely found his new go to place. After reading previous awesome Yelp reviews, he wanted to give it a try and was highly impressed! They were very welcoming when we came in and the wait time was very short, even for a Saturday afternoon. Mario did a killer job on his cut and Eugene was nice to talk to! So I had called to schedule a cut yesterday afternoon for my husband. I was told for him to arrive at 930am. He arrived and waited an hour to be asked what time his appointment was. He was then told he wasn't scheduled and wouldn't be able to get a cut after waiting to be cut during that time. He left upset and without a haircut. I do not recommend this shop to anyone and I will tell all my friends as well. Very unprofessional and this is not the first time this has happened with this shop. read more

Just moved to the area and was looking for a new barber. Found these guys from all the reviews on here. Walked in and was greeted immediately. I was treated how a customer should be treated. The guys were friendly. This place does it all when I look for a barbershop; shaving the back of neck with razor and shaving cream, a hot towel with a little shoulder rub. My hair even looks great too. The price was what you would pay at the big name places. So you get a great hair cut and little more, what a deal. I have been looking for a barber for awhile now. Tried a couple different places and have not found the right one. My son and I went in to Viking Barbershop and found out there was a new owner. My son usually gets antsy after being in the chair for a bit. He sat just fun the entire time and had no issues. My husband visited Viking Barbershop this past week and met Eugene, the new business owner. He could not be more happy with the experience he had at this barber shop. He frequented different barbershops to get haircuts but never left fully satisfied. However, he has now found his place to go! Eugene was awesome - he took the time to ensure my husband's experience was not rushed and that he was satisfied with the haircut and beard trim he received.
