During one of the most difficult times in my life--after the passing of my husband--I was faced with the overwhelming task of moving back to Michigan. I had placed my belongings in storage, but when the time came to ship them home, the moving company fell through and had no one available to help load my things into a U-Haul pod. To make matters even more stressful, I had already left the state. That's when Tony stepped in. With incredible kindness, compassion, and professionalism, Tony went above and beyond--personally arranging for my belongings to be moved from the storage unit into the pod. Without his help, I wouldn't have had access to any of my things. I was hundreds of miles away, and Tony took care of everything like it was his own. This kind of old-fashioned, genuine customer care is nearly impossible to find these days. Tony didn't just provide a service--he showed heart, and for that, I am endlessly grateful. Today was the last straw... I rented a trencher for half a day just past noon and new it would be close for 430, and told them so. I called on my way at 425 and was told I would have to bring it back Monday as she had already closed the gates. When I got there at 435 Donna was there and did nothing but frown at me... I unloaded the trailer, moved the trencher to the door while she walked over and closed the gate with my truck inside. She then told me I owed them some courtesy. The courtesy was that I paid $111.00 for a 3 hour rental with attitude and unloaded it myself!! This will be my last time as they (Donna) simply have no understanding of customer service. They make you feel as if you were doing them a favor to rent from them. Next time I will drive down to the tool rental at home depot in Blairville. The trencher is $30 cheaper, brand new and the lights on the trailer actually work. They also stay open later and on weekends. If you want a business that is 9-5 M-F with no hassles, then get out of tool rental!
