No stress like at the DMV! Quick, great customer service. Just a small fee but so worth it. No wait, no grumpy customer service. Gals are very knowledgeable and very friendly. Won't be going back to DMV for tags, title transfers etc. Highly recommend In/Out tags in Brentwood. read more

I will NEVER go back to the DMV! If you have the pleasure in meeting/working with Sophia or Sam of In/Out Tags, you' ll know why. They both are helpful, knowledgeable and understanding. In my scenario, I have a truck my son will be driving, but hasn't been driven in a long time. Short story, need Smog to get registration taken care of. I used my last one day driving form and called them. They told me to stop by and provided another copy understanding what I was trying to get done. Thanks Sophia & Sam!!! read more

Called and asked a question and they hung up on me. Very unprofessional and very disrespectful, guess they don't want clients.

This is the 3rd (or maybe 4th) time I have been here for title transfer. (this time for a Jet Ski but have done cars and boats) The easiest way to sum it up is to state that the name says it all. I think I was In & Out in about 5 minutes, 10 tops. Quick and easy. Totally worth it. To me the office was comfortable, and professional looking. And the people were all pleasant and enjoyable to deal with. read more

Awesome people, very accommodating and helpful! Savannah was on point and helped me get multiple vehicles registered remotely

The best $39 I have ever spent! Savannah went above and beyond to help me with my suspended registration. Within minutes my registration was resolved and I was out the door. This was after 45 minutes at AAA, who said they could not resolve my issue and I would have to go to DMV! Thank you In and Out Tags and Savannah read more

Amazing customer service! This team is always quickly, responsive, helpful, and reasonably priced.

Wow, what a great experience with In/Out Tags! These ladies are truly amazing, I had been holding off transferring my out of state vehicle title to CA and renewing my registration, since I knew it would be such a headache with the DMV. Laura, with In/Out Tags, eased my mind and went above and beyond to help me. She even printed off necessary paperwork for a Duplicate Title and mailed it for me! These ladies are wonderful and I highly recommend them for your vehicle registration/tag needs! read more

Easy like, Sunday morning. Love this place and the girls that work there are fast and efficient too. I really love that when I forget to register with DMV they will call me up the last day and handle it over the phone so I don't get penalized with late fees. Couldn't be happier with the outstanding service. read more

I had a lot of back registration fee dues and I was worried In/Out tags were going to refer me back to the DMV. However, They were all so nice and helpful. It took less than 5-minutes! I will perform all my renewals here in the future (hopefully on time). read more

A buddy told me to come here . SAMANTHA was so nice and helpful. I was "in & out" in 15 minutes with new plates and registration. THANK YOU THANK YIU THANK YOU read more

Literally the kindest, most informative helpful people. I've been having trouble with a car with expired Tags and not sure how to handle a PNO. They were so quick, and EDUCATED me on why they were doing what they were doing. Another place wanted to charge me three figures to do something that didn't make sense--here, everyone helped me. I can not recommend them enough. read more

Great experience! I don't think I can ever go back to the dreaded DMV again. Rich was so helpful with my needs and made the transaction seamless for my out of state transfer title. I got a CA Lic Plate, Tags, Reg, VIN Check and CA Title Transfer completed within 15 minutes of my arrival. Literally In & Out! Thanks again Rich! read more

In/Out Tags - Registration Services Near Me - Brentwood, California

Very little communication through the out of state tag process and in the end, my husband was told just to go to the DMV after a full month, with absolutely no benefit to him having gone through the service. I understand it's complicated and takes much longer to process than in-state tags, but when you are being asked to provide paperwork you had already provided weeks ago, then not updated even though he requested some sort of follow up in person, by email and by phone, I can honestly say we've never been ignored like this from a business, nor have we ever yielded such a disappointing result working with a business for over a month. I don't believe anyone should patronize this company if they are in need of California plates and coming from out of state- they don't seem to understand the process, or at least they didn't indicate any understanding to us. read more

Wow, so not only were they able to see me last minute on my lunch break they got me in/out in about 20 minuets with my tags in hand. Steve and Janice were awesome. They explained things to me that I didn't know. Have your paper work ready it makes their lives easier. I couldn't even make it to Pittsburg in 20 minutes the time it took me to complete all of this. The cherry on top, they saved me a few hundred bucks. I don't know if everyone will have the same savings but I know people will appreciate their time saved. Once again thank you so much. -Frank read more

Staff is friendly and quick. I've been here twice and love the convenience of handling title transfers and registrations in-town.

Super awesome friendly service. For the added surcharge... worth it ALL DAY LONG, over the hassle of Frickn DMV!!!

They were very professional and super speedy. I was in and out super quick. Prices were fair.

This place is amazing, someone mentioned it on my Nextdoor App and I am SO glad! Helped with a pain title transfer and just like their name I was In/Out! Service is amazing and everyone in the office is so pleasant to work with! I am recommending this place to all of my friends and family. Thank you In/Out tags! read more

I don't typically write reviews within the same day, but In/Out deserves the high praise. I purchased a car out-of-state and needed the vin verification, title transfer, and commercial plates done. Rich did a great job problem solving the issue and had me out of there within 20 minutes with new plates. If this was the DMV, I would be making multiple trips and waiting in those horrendous lines. Rich and his staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Skip the lines and head over to In/Out. read more

I went in to take car of an out of state transfer and VIN verification today. Within 20 minutes, I left with my plates, tags, and registration on hand. I highly recommend coming here for you DMV services. Friendly staff and quick service. This is my go to spot from now on for all my DMV stuff. read more

We took my daughter's car to In/Out for tags this morning - she quick, so friendly! Rich even came out and scraped off the old tags and put the new ones on! It's a small office in a beautiful building but PLENTY of people working there to help - no appt necessary and we didn't wait AT ALL. There is a small service fee for the convenience but totally worth it! ( This is IN/OUT on 2nd street in Brentwood - NOT the place next door behind the used car lot!! ) We have AAA and can utilize their services but we will definitely go back here! read more

Holy smokes..... I went to deal with my DMV issues and I was in/out in 10 minutes. This had to be the fastest, most convenient, easiest and actually had a laugh with Steve. How many times can you say you have laughed with the DMV employees.... exactly never.... Steve was able to take care of all my dmv items and I was out in no time. Thanks again for helping/saving me from the horrors of listening to the "now serving E56" when my number is B99. Best DMV advancement ever... read more

I recommend Steve and his services (In/Out Tags) to everyone in the surrounding area. He can do pretty much everything DMV does except for issuing drivers licenses or ID's. I went here for a transfer of ownership and I literally sat down for about 5 mins and was out of there! No wait time at all, no appointment, nothing. I just walked in. Also my car hasn't been smogged yet but that wasn't a problem he got my paper work started so I can avoid any late fees on registering my car. He's a great dude very friendly and helpful. If your time is important to you Steve is definitely the man to see! read more

I worked with Steve at In/Out tags and it was a great experience. I had a difficult situation with my registration that led my trailer to be towed away and the costs were increasing daily, not to mention I was unable to use the trailer for my business. I went and saw Steve and I'm less than 30 minutes everything was straighten out and I was back in business. This would have taken me weeks to iron out had I not used In/Out tags. Steve has followed up and has been a trusted resource for me with anything dealing with DMV. Highly recommended. read more
