They also listed some additional work needed including drive belt, front struts, and a lower control arm replacement. I just had some brake work done at a Toyota dealership and the comprehensive courtesy inspection found none of the maintenance needs that Silver Lake Auto said the car needed. Not only do I have good reason to question the validity of the purported maintenance needs, I now have very low confidence that my car actually received a transmission fluid flush for which I paid. It's not like a dealership technician to miss any maintenance recommendations. Customer beware!!!

There was no real way to change the tire there, just sitting in the car felt dangerous, there was no place to stand and it was brutally hot and humid. A few years ago I stopped paying for my emergency road service thinking if I ever got stranded I would use YELP to find a tow truck and that's how this worked out. There weren't any reviews, I took a chance with the closest listed emergency tow, J and J answered right away, helped me figure out my exact location, rescue came 35 minutes later. They recommended a nearby Firestone and got me there just before closing. The tow was expensive, but the hook up was "tricky" which may or may not be an industry term. Also, the price was still less than 4 years of AAA or the Fiat road service fee (charged after the free period when the car was newer).

I was updated throughout the day and able to check out the vitals and condition of my truck through their very convenient online dashboard that is updated as they inspect my vehicle...all complimentary services! They also offer a free loaner car while yours is being worked on. The entire crew at this shop is excellent. Very nice waiting area with a big screen TV to watch whatever you like and complimentary beverages are a nice treat. The warm cookies I received after picking up my vehicle are always nice too. Beware of this place. They are EXTREMELY expensive and they have lost my trust. I brought my car…read morein and was told it needed over $1400 of repairs for an air flow sensor issue along with one more repair. Previous to this- about 5 months before they had already repaired the sensor. Of course they told me it is another issue (not the same repair). Their diagnostic fee is very expensive as well at $225 just to take 5 minutes to plug in a machine to see the codes to what is wrong. I took my car to get a second opinion and they were able to repair my car for $800 less!!! Also they noted the work done on my sensor was not done well by Silver Lake so they had to repair it as well. I'd recommend finding a local auto repair show instead. They are more trustworthy and fair in pricing.
