This has been my first time at a laundry mat & y'all I'm so surprised with how clean & pretty this place is! Everything was very easy to operate. They accept cash, card, & of course coins. They have a coin machine to exchange bills. They also sell laundry detergent there & snacks! Although it says that they're open 24/7, they're really not! The doors close by 1 am & if you're inside you can stay inside but if you leave you can't come back inside. This place is at a great location, very cute & clean. I'll definitely be going when needed. read more

She told me what size machine to use according to my load size, how much money to put, and where to pour the soap and softener. The place is clean, quiet, spacious, and cool. Peace and quiet and very cold AC!! Perfect for hot summer days. They have big TV screens and vending machines for snack and drinks and some old arcade game to pass the time. There is a section on the wall that has missing socks so anyone can claim.. Its fun concept that i havent seen in most laundromats, not even in Houston. Now, the prices are a little more on the higher end but so are the washing machines, plus the interior is very comfortable for clients so I feel its justified. Especially if one was washing out of emergency and needed to look for a place close by the hospitals there on same street, which was the case for me. Mostly this place is self serve and have to navigate on own, but i did see an shop attendant pop up a few times in my one hour stay. Oh yes and there are also bathrooms here and plenty of seating! This location is coin and card(shops card aka 'fastcard') friendly!! read more

TLDR: A dryer that I thought to be advertised as $1 for 24 minutes, gave me 24 minutes- but at 10X the price. :| ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ I just wanna give a huge shout out to the people over @ Big Realty for being the entire reason that I'm even having to seek out a place to do laundry. ^_^ FuN! This business is right around the corner from the place my SO and I were essentially conned into :) So perfect for not having to lug my sh*t very far, ya know? :) Finding the place can be a little tricKy if you aren't paying attention , but nothing an extra sign can't fix. Thinking back to my younger days, laundromats in the valley tend to have not-so-great parking accomadations and can be ~really~ hot...not an issue at all w/ this place! Already off to a good start. The rows of machines, tables, and chairs are all spaced nicely too, so even if it had been a busy weekend, I would imagine one would be able to continue working comfortably. (And perhaps I just got lucky dropping by at a good time but THERE WERE NO CHILDREN RUNNING AND SCREAMING UN/ATTENEDED....wow! (: ) However, there were inconsistencies all over the store when it came to payment methods. A perfect half-way point would be to have laundry cards that one loads up as they need and is allowed to pay with either cash OR card at a kiosk. Just taking a little inspiration from the majority of laundromats in Austin. It's really a game changer. Back to the experience at hand though... Some machines were change only. Some machines accepted a card. Can't recall if there was some crossover though. I can get how maybe this was done to try and make things more convenient, but it's not like all the machines are divided up equally or in a way that would make sense and ~actually~ be convenient. For example, lets say there's 10 of every machine type. One might assume that half of every machine is cash only, and the other half is card only. Or perhaps, that ~all~ the machines just accept both forms of payment. That would make sense...right? Ok, well, here, all the small washers were coin/cash only and the largest washers, if I am remembering this correctly, had a card option. The smaller dryers accepted coins, and again, the larger dryers operated by card payment. I wasn't even annoyed yet since none of this had posed an issue. I went about my business and finished my laundry. Normally, I'd call that a win. My sister and I discussed trying other places in the area for the sheer sake of it but I reiterated how close this place was and we agreed that there's rly no point since we had such a good experience. I got home and just wanted to verify the dryer charged my card appropriately (I washed w/ change). Now, earlier, after inserting my card, the dryer displayed "24", which I presumed was the base/starting number of minutes judging by the time/cost info painted right above me. Ok, cool. Super fair price, I thought at the time. Fast fwd a little bit and what should have been/what I understood to be 6 minutes for 25cents or 24 minutes for $1, turned out to be a whole $10...are you serious?? I'm curious about how all these ppl with 5 star reviews paid for their services. My guess is cash/change bc that card machine 10x charged me and I'm seeing no mention of anything similar. (Must be nice. Would honestly love to have this sorted out, seeing as being overcharged is my only deal breaker. Otherwise, this would have easily been a 4 star review. :( PS. I had a really nice and good experience here everything was clean and the place looks nice the machines are great and convenient for the price I really enjoyed the quickness of the machines and how thoroughly it cleaned my clothes the only issue I had is the amount it charges you when you use card. The machine charged me $10.00 when I only did two loads for 24 mins, and I hope it gets resolved because I really like the place. Overall everything was good and reliable. read more

Cleanest laundromat I have ever visited. It took me 2 hours to do laundry and there was someone cleaning from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out. They offer different sizes and all at different prices. Lowest price $1.50 and most expensive machine was about $4-$5, I can't remember. They accept different methods of payments from coins to credit cards (SUPER CONVENIENT!) Free detergent is offered on the weekends and they have vending machines for snacks. We'll be in McAllen for the next 2-3 months and I am definitely coming back. read more

I liked the variety of machines. Especially the large ones. And there were plenty of large dryers. We had an issue with our 6 load washer leaking, apparently a lip balm at certain times wedged in and would cause it to leak. The tenant came over and mopped up the leak and used her key to restart the machine. It was a big help. Overall the place could be kept cleaner. But the machines were fine. I loved using a credit card. read more

I've been coming here for about 3 months now and I am incredibly satisfied with this place. The staff is friendly, the price is relatively low and I always get good results from the machines. The 24/7 availability has helped me out on more than 1 occasion, and the fact that they have free wifi is also a plus. They have free internet, clean restrooms, cold AC, it is near two great coffee establishments, great deals, machines that work efficiently, and wash and fold service available. You gotta love this place. It reminds me of high end washing establishments in metropolitan areas. If you need to do laundry and you're in a hurry I suggest that you come in. They also sell laundry bags for a very economical price. I enjoy coming and using this establishment and if you check in with yelp you can get a free 25 lbs wash for free!! How great is that!!! So check in!!! Here is the bad part, be sure that if you use the wash and fold service, which is a great thing to use when you absolutely have no time and always are on the run, CHECK if they gave you the right items. They gave our clothes to the wrong person. I mean, accidents do happen, but someone had our clothes and someone at the establishment has suggested WE go pick it up from the location it was at. Management helped to smooth out the incident and gave my girlfriend a free wash and fold. Which we haven't used, yet. But just becareful that if you drop off clothing that you get the right batch of clothes back. Again I enjoy using this establishment bc it is very convenient and I think how they keep the place very clean and working efficiently, that I will return. I do have hesitation to leaving my clothes at the wash and fold. read more

Been here a few times to wash comforters. This place is kept clean. Clean machines, floors, restrooms. They give you a punch card for a free machine, 7am-12pm. Most of the machines are front load. Pricing from $2.00-2 loads, $4.50-3 loads, $6.00- loads. Overall pretty nice place. read more
