My skin has never been as smooth as it is now since I did laser hair removal with Lana. I recently came back to touch up on some areas and continue on with my hair removal process. I told them to cancel and I would reschedule based on my availability. I then 24 hours later receive an email with confirmation with the original time, instead of the cancellation. By that time, I had made alternative plans but because this was 24 hours before the actual appointment a $75 charge was required to cancel. When I arrived, the technician was forceful and slimey with her business dealings. When I told her this was maintenance for previous treatment performed prior to moving to Boston, she proceeded to insult an entire city of people as though they were low class. They verbally quoted one price and wrote a different price in contract. When I corrected them, it was given a rebuttal and then ultimately changed again when I declined the service. This lets me know they make up pricing on the fly and based on who is in front of them. One service I wanted to save for another day, but she insisted on performing the day of consultation (to get the money) even though I did not have time. She then made up another day for me to come back and told the scheduler to schedule me at that time, even though I did not request that time. I think they have unethical practices and I will not be returning. I will fly back to my original dermatologist and aesthetician for better service.

If you want a relaxing massage that is light, make sure to specify that, and if you want a deep tissue sports therapy massage, make sure to specify that too and it can be accommodated. I was sadly disappointed. Having a couples massage is convenient because we are both there but other than that I don't feel it is worth the extra cost. I had a male and he had a female masseuse and we filled out the little questionnaire about where to find our kinks so they could work them out. Well, turns out it was the opposite. The areas we circled seemed to be skipped. I was really looking forward to my calves and footies worked on. I don't know the names of our masseuse. They weren't as professional as I had hoped. They were walking around giggling and whispering and carrying on scooting in and out of what felt like hiding places while we and some other guests waited in the center spa. The area has soft mood lighting and a nice ambiance and is very quiet so it was hard not to notice the interaction. We were waiting for our appointments while the 3 other guests had just had their appointments and were sipping water and snacking on dishes of fruit. The spa area has the look and feel but in the end it is the massage that counts and for the price it was not worth it.
