My mother went into this salon this morning to get her hair done for a family wedding and I have never been more shocked than when she came back to the hotel. My mother was very specific on what she wanted: no product, a wash and a blow out. She came back with her hair matted, frizzy, and almost in tears. The stylist put MULTIPLE products in her hair after SPECIFICALLY ASKING NOT TO, and TEASED IT. There was no attempt to rectify her hair before she walked out practically in tears when the stylist had an ENTIRE EXTRA HOUR BLOCKED OFF. My mother had to wash her hair TWICE and she STILL has product gunked up in her hair as I am typing this. The manager/owner only tried to rectify the situation AFTER it was too late! HOURS after the fact! As a small business they should be ashamed. 1 star is too generous. read more

Went here today for the first time. Jessica was amazing. I had no idea what I wanted done with my hair... I just wanted something different. After we discussed my options, she went with a new high and low lights and a new cut I would never have thought of asking for. Well, it's all done and I LOVE it! They advertise one price online and give a complete other charge in person. They don't honor THERE MESSUP. Horrible business - AVOID AVOID AVOID. The person who did my wife's updo did a horrible job and they charged her $60 for 30 mins of work. Go somewhere else and avoid this joke. read more

I hope my review gets to the salon owner as I call with no answer or option to leave a message. I got my make up done on Saturday afternoon for what ended up being the most important moment of my life-- my engagement night!! I brought my own eyelashes and was charged to have them put on. They FELL OFF half way through dinner on the side for one and center for another. The girl clearly did not use glue or anything but the thin layer of tape that came on them. I was so very embarrassed and when someone was taking a photo for us, she told me it was coming off. I then had huge sparse spot where the eyelash had been and no way to fix it. This cost me $50 to have done, well $40 and I was generous with tipping....little did I know that I would be so mortified. Please call me as soon as possible to rectify. Getting my haircut used to be a major dilemma. Growing up in a small Midwestern farm town, you had to get your 'slice' any way possible (read: girls) and having a sweet haircut was one more way to make yourself stylish and stand out among the crowd. Even if flannel, cowboy boots and tight stonewash denim were considered 'sylish'. That's a whole diferent review. So, like most teenage guys, I relied heavily on my Mom and her trusty clippers to get my through early adolescence. Though, obviously, she was severely limited in her variety of styles, but she seemed to know how to do the standard buzz cut, fairly well. It was low-maintanence, but very plain unless you were Justin Timberlake (who at that time wasn't even near a pop chart, much less Elkhorn Area Middle School). It was my cut of choice for damn near the entire '92-'97 period. Soon, I graduated to Ketchpaw's Hair Stylists, which was a 3 minute dirt bike ride up the street from my house. Sadly, they weren't much more innovative than my Mom. It was basically a bunch of Mom's cutting hair. Here you had several choices: * The 'Clooney' - short and spiky, maybe a touch of platinum in the tips to spice things up * A few variations of the standard 'bowl' cut which was made popular by the character Harry in Dumb & Dumber in the mid-90's. Supercuts was next, but they did a pretty lousy job, and I briefly contemplated actually having my Mom or my HS girlfriend cut my hair, but I decided against it for reasons I can't disclose here. ;) Then, one sunny summer afternoon on my usual daily bike ride to my job at McDonald's, I discovered an absolute local styling gem- Impreza. My hair demands would soon be perm-anently changed. Impreza has great, knowledgeable hairstylists, great atmosphere, it's very relaxing. Tthey cater to your every need, not just clipping and razoring away like Mom did, stopping periodically to slap you on the head for moving too much this way, too much that way. Here, they take your concept and combine it with their unique creative approach to give you the style you want. Every time. Impreza offers more than hair styling, though. Pedicures, manicures, waxing, massage, facials and makeup are all done here as well. This is definately the best place for a haircut in the area, service is excellent and the girls are a smart combination of cute, stylish, and fun. If you're in the mood for something new and fresh, and you're a little tired of Mom, then a trip here is in order. You'll likely leave Imprezzed. read more

Jessica G is a miracle worker! She's been styling my hair for a few years but I really gave her a challenge this month. I had the bright idea to do a home keratin straightening treatment on my naturally curly hair a year ago. With major breakage and even a section on the side of my head that is about 1/3 the length of the rest, she managed to work it into a style that I can gracefully grow it out without a major chop. Color is always on point, easy to schedule with some notice, I completely recommend her if you're looking for someone new and can assure you she will give you a great result - even if you bring her a crazy hair challenge. read more

I got a manicure done here at the beginning of May. It was amazing. I don't remember the woman's name who did my nails, but she said she has been doing nails for like 20 years. This is the best manicure I have ever had. If I didn't live in CA I would go here all the time. I got the shellac nail polish (like the gel) and it really did last about 3 weeks for me...and my mani's never last. Also, the French tip was really natural looking. The manicure I have now is driving me nuts because so much of my nail is painted white and it makes my nail beds look short and stubby. These only made my fingers look more elegant. They are located next to Hollywood nails and I am pretty sure they are by appointment only. It is worth it. I think it was $35 for the manicure. Again...totally worth it!!! read more

Don't go there unless you want to give them your wallet. How can hair services in Delavan WI cost almost $200? The hairstylist never told us that it would be that much and we never anticipated that. I got the worst haircut ever and paid $130 for that and had to have it redone at another salon the next day. read more
