The owner, Elizabeth Krause, seems to be dealing with some sort of paranoia. I booked a trial appointment for my wedding and she cancelled my appointment without cause. She told me she believed my instagram account had been hacked??? I have a lot of followers and I live in a different state, but my wedding is in Lake Geneva. I have no idea why she thought my account was hacked!! That's where we had been communicating and I got the sense that she was just trying to make up a reason. It was so bizarre. It's already slim pickings to find a good make up artist, but you should definitely avoid this place! She was mad that I took a few days to respond to her. I'm a busy career woman and was planning on getting back to her. It's may 16 and my appointment is June 4. She didn't keep her word and I don't think you should give her your business.

I now live in New York, but often fly home just to get my hair done because of the superior work they do at this salon. Eileen, who owns the salon is always friendly and helpful. She has always been really great at scheduling me in when I've had time constraints. I've been having my hair cut and highlighted by Julie for more than ten years. She does INCREDIBLE work. She is the reason I fly all the way from New York to Wisconsin. April (another stylist at the salon), has done my hair on a few occasions (and is the regular stylist for a few of my friends), and also does really fantastic work. While I've only been to the salon to have my hair done, they also offer manicures, massages, waxing, etc. The space is really clean and well-decorated; and based on my experiences with their stylists, I am positive the staff they have for their other services ares stellar.

Every experience I have had at this salon was disturbing and unprofessional. I had a horrible wax…read moreand did not leave a tip because I was so disappointed, the next time I got the same wax I watched the woman waxing me tell them woman at the counter to charge me higher because "I do not tip" I got a Brazilian and checked out the work when I got home and there were whole patches of skin inches and inches of skin covered with hair and dried wax. (It was seriously insane I would share pictures but that would obviously be highly inappropriate) I had to go back in for them to finish the job. Very disappointing and painful! /: Last week I got my hair cut and styled so I left the salon happy but when I showered and dried my hair the next day it was completely uneven and choppy. I went in to ask the stylist to fix it and she actually asked me if I cut my own hair after I left the day before..... she "fixed" it but it's still one of the worst hair cuts I've ever had and was very over-priced.
